China's bearing exports occupy an important position in the international market. With the rapid development of China's bearing industry, its product quality and performance have been continuously improved, and it has gradually been recognized by the international market. At present, China has become one of the world's largest bearing production and export countries, the export volume is increasing year by year, and the products cover many countries and regions around the world.
China Bearing exports a wide range of products, including deep groove ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, spherical roller bearings, angular contact bearings, thrust bearings, etc., which are widely used in automobiles, agricultural machinery, wind power, motors, metallurgy, railways, mines and other fields. The international markets for China's bearing exports mainly include Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and other regions, of which Europe and North America are the traditional markets for China's bearing exports, while emerging markets such as Southeast Asia show great growth potential.
However, China's bearing exports also face some challenges in the international market. Among them, anti-dumping is a major difficulty hindering China's bearing exports.
Anti-dumping as a protective measure. With the acceleration of global economic integration and the advancement of liberalization, international competition is becoming more and more fierce, and frictions and disputes between countries are also increasing. In this context, anti-dumping has become one of the important means for countries to protect their domestic industries.
At present, the countries that impose anti-dumping tariffs on China's bearing products include the European Union, the United States, Russia, Argentina and Ukraine.
Among them, the United States has launched five anti-dumping final rulings on China's bearings so far. On June 15, 1987, the U.S. Department of Commerce began to formally impose anti-dumping duties on tapered roller bearings imported from China. Since then, the United States has conducted four sunset reviews and made affirmative final rulings in the case, extending the validity period of anti-dumping duties four times on July 11, 2000, September 15, 2006, August 30, 2012 and October 17, 2018.
Most recently, on December 15, 2023, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued the fifth anti-dumping fast-track sunset review final ruling on tapered roller bearings imported from China, implementing 6025% anti-dumping measures.
