When Prince Harry visited the UK in early February, he ended up staying in a hotel instead of going to Sandringham with his family – and now sources have revealed why.
Royal aides have reportedly blocked Prince Harry from traveling to Sandringham with King Charles because they feared "they would never get rid of him".
Earlier this month, the Duke of Sussex rushed back to London from his home in California while the 75-year-old monarch was battling cancer.
Charles's second son wanted to travel to Norfolk and the king planned to spend time with Queen Camilla, 76, at the Sandringham estate, but Harry was told that the meeting would take place at Clarence House in London and would take just 30 minutes.
Harry had come to visit his father and had planned to go to Sandringham. But instead, he was asked to go to Clarence Palace and was limited to 30 minutes," an insider told The Sun. "The fear is that if he goes to Sandringham, they will never get rid of him. ”
Harry met with the King at Clarence House for about 30 minutes before leaving. Soon after, the King and Queen took a Bentley to a *** in Buckingham Palace Gardens and flew to Sandringham.
Harry reportedly spent the night at a hotel. The Duke of Sussex was only in England for a total of 26 hours, but apparently planned to return.
In an interview with Good Morning America, Harry spoke to host Will Reeve about his future plans: "I've already planned other trips. It's going to take me across the UK or back to the UK, so you know, I'm going to come over and see my family as often as I can. ”
The February Dynamic Incentive Plan then spoke about the "reuniting impact" that the King's poor health could have on families in the midst of ongoing feud, to which Harry responded "I'm sure" before adding: "In all of these families, I see that. "The strength of the family unit is held together day in and day out. I think any illness can bring families together. "Look, I love my family. The fact that I was able to get on the plane to see him and spend time with him is grateful for that," Prince Harry said optimistically.
King was diagnosed with cancer after being admitted to the hospital** for unrelated issues. Harry refused to comment on the king's condition in an interview with the GMA presenter, saying: "It's between me and him. ”
