Create task situations to break through the barriers of learning ancient poetry

Classical poetry is the representative of the excellent traditional Chinese culture and an important part of the Chinese context. However, the teaching of ancient poetry is often a "pain point" and "difficulty" in Chinese classrooms. Limited by the background of the times and the habits of language expression, students will inevitably have a sense of isolation and strangeness to classical poetry, and the actual effect of learning is not ideal.

The 2022 version of the new curriculum standard points out in the "Curriculum Implementation" section that language teaching should "reflect the characteristics of language learning task groups, plan learning content as a whole", and "create real and meaningful learning situations to highlight the practicality of language learning". These concepts provide ideas for effectively improving the teaching effect of Chinese poetry in junior high school.

Integrate teaching resources and set up learning task groups at three levels: the basic learning task is the rhyme of words and the text;The developmental learning task is to taste the state of words, and to understand the feelings;The extended learning task is the method of appreciating words, and applying what you have learned.

Create activity situations to promote change in the way learning is done. Combined with the humanistic theme of this unit, "Character of Interest", I designed the activity scenario of making the life apocalypse of the class magazine "Words and Aspirations". At the beginning of the class, a call for papers was issued, and students first used a variety of forms to "read" around the situation of the solicitation of papers, read the pronunciation of the words, read the rhythm, and solve the problem of readingThen cooperate to appreciate the "taste of a product", and understand Li Qingzhao's love and ambition by tasting "Like a Dream Order" and "Fisherman's Pride", and meet the requirements of reading;and then to "learn a study", summarize the general methods of appreciating poetry in layers, and try to use the learned methods to appreciate "Wuling Spring" and "Summer Quatrain", so as to achieve the realm of appreciation. Teachers play the role of guides and collaborators in the activities, reading with students and guiding students into the text from an emotional levelStarting with questions, guide students to experience Li Qingzhao's innocence in her teenage years, her dissatisfaction with reality and her pursuit of ideals in her later years, and feel the bold side of the graceful wordThe learning tasks are designed in layers to inspire students to use the methods they have learned to appreciate the two poems outside the classroom, further taste the feelings and aspirations, and understand and inherit the feelings of the family and country.

Gradient learning evaluations were conducted. The learning evaluation of this lesson is divided into three parts: before, during and after class. Each evaluation unit is divided into three levels: basic consolidation (a), ability improvement (b), and expansion and extension (c), and the A level is to recommend a Yi'an word you like, and write a paragraph of about 80 words for appreciation;Layer B is optional "Like a Dream Order", "Fisherman's Pride", "Wuling Chun" in a word card, fill in a poem to send personal feelings;The C layer is to write an essay of about 200 words with the theme of "Li Qingzhao in My Eyes".

This class focuses on the task situation, restores the characteristics of poetry teaching itself, pays attention to individual differences and different learning needs, truly uses tasks to guide students, cultivates students from the ability level, promotes the continuous improvement of students' core Chinese literacy, stimulates students' love for classical poetry and literature, and continues the cultural bloodline.
