Kuwait, a wealthy country in the Middle East, suddenly turned to aid Ukraine with 149 T72 tanks.

Reuters reports, 1On the 25th, Kuwait announced that it would provide assistance to Ukraine for more than 100 tanks that had been mothballed. The tanks are currently mothballed in the desert, transported to Romania for upgrades, and then transshipped to Ukraine.

At present, Kuwait is equipped with more than 200 American M1A1 tanks, and these more than 100 tanks were purchased by Kuwait from the former Soviet Union in 1989. At present, Kuwait is not needed, and the decision was finally made with the coordination of the United States.

Kuwait made this decision for two reasons.

First, Kuwait has also suffered the same as Ukraine, Saddam's Iraq once invaded Kuwait and controlled the entire territory of Kuwait, if it were not for the US coalition to help Kuwait recover, Kuwait would have become a province of Iraq.

On the one hand, the United States is pressuring, and on the other hand, the recent blockade by the Houthis has led to a decrease in energy exports from Middle Eastern countries.

Kuwait's turn to the next level has a certain impact on other Middle Eastern countries, and Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and other countries have already provided tanks and air defense systems to Ukraine through third parties.
