Workers are scattered in various vegetable greenhouses, busy picking, sorting, and packing celery, chrysanthemum, zucchini, tomatoes and other vegetables. Dongyue Village is a reservoir resettlement village, backed by Rainbow Mountain, facing Kawaguchi Lake, close to Kang Da Road, and has superior conditions for the development of vegetable industry. In 2019, Dongyue Village began to take advantage of its ecological and location advantages to develop characteristic agriculture, and successively built 51 cold sheds and 5 warm sheds, embarking on a new path of rural revitalization.

At about 10 o'clock, a high-end cold chain logistics vehicle loaded with more than 10 kinds of vegetables such as eggplant, tomatoes and celery drove from Peptide Ecological Farm to the city. After more than half an hour, the car will arrive at the distribution center located in the downtown area of Xingtai, 30 kilometers away. At noon, these vegetables can appear on the tables of citizens.

The greenhouse vegetable planting not only made the farm leader like Zhao Qingshan taste the sweetness, but also benefited the surrounding people, and villager Zhao Jinquan was one of them. He transferred more than 7 acres of his family's land to the farm, plus worked in the greenhouse, and earned 20,000 yuan a year.

At the beginning of the new year, Dongyue Village has a new plan: continue to expand the greenhouse vegetable planting area, implement diversified greenhouse three-dimensional planting, and at the same time use the advantages of Kangda Road and Kawaguchi Lake to build farm picking, homestay leisure and other projects, and strive to make good use of the ecological advantages of Dongyue Village, so that the villagers can live a higher life.
