Lu Zhengcao adapted Xiaoqiao, and the three cadres accompanied him

General Lu Zhengcao, although he served as a general in the Northeast Army, had already become a member of our party as early as May 1937. Although he worked in the Northeast Army, he was "in Cao Ying's heart in Han", so in October 1937, after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, he led his troops to join the ranks of the Eighth Route Army, which was a natural thing.

The landmark event of General Lu Zhengcao's return to the leadership of our party was the "Xiaoqiao reorganization." Xiaoqiao Village is located on the Hutuo River in Jinzhou, Hebei Province, due to flooding, the residents fled to live on two barren hills, the residents on the big hill are called "Dajiao Village", and the residents on the small hill are called "Xiaojiao Village".

Later, the word "reef" gradually evolved into the word "Qiao", hence the name Xiaoqiao Village.

In early October 1937, the 691st Regiment of the 53rd Army of the Northeast Army led by Lu Zhengcao fought fierce battles with the Japanese army in the central Hebei region. During the battle, they killed more than 800 Japanese soldiers in Meihua Town, Gaocheng County, and successfully broke through to Xiaoqiao Village, Jinzhou, Hebei Province.

In Xiaoqiao Village, Lu Zhengcao led more than 1,000 soldiers to reorganize and held an anti-Japanese oath meeting here. At this congress, they resolutely burned the radio codebook, cut off all contact with the 53rd Army at their higher level, and announced their separation from the Kuomintang army, established the "People's Anti-Japanese Self-Defense Army" in Jizhong, and joined the combat sequence of our army.

Therefore, this event is also known as "Xiaoqiao Yizhi". After Lu Zhengcao's 691 Regiment was reorganized into the "People's Anti-Japanese Self-Defense Army" in Jizhong, he had three cadres under him, namely Zhao Chengjin, the first captain, Yu Quankun, the second captain, and Sha Ke, the third captain.

Next, let's take a look at the situation of these three cadres.

Zhao Chengjin, a native of Haicheng, Liaoning, was born in 1901, graduated from the Northeast Army Lecture Hall, served in the Northeast Army, and served as battalion commander and deputy regiment commander. After the reorganization of Xiaoqiao, Zhao Chengjin served as the first commander-in-chief, the commander of the 1st Regiment, the commander of the 1st Army Division of the Eighth Route Army, the commander of the 4th Army Division of the Hebei-Shandong-Henan Military Region and the commander of the Southward Advance Detachment, and the deputy brigade commander of the 1st Brigade of the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningjin-Sui Joint Defense Army.

After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he led his troops into the northeast, and served as the deputy commander of the Shenyang City Garrison Command and the commander of the Fourth Security Brigade, the commander of the 1st Army Division of the Liaoning Provincial Military Region, the deputy commander of the Heilongjiang Provincial Military Region, the deputy commander of the Nenjiang Military Region, and the commander of the 170th Division of the Northeast Military Region.

In 1955, Cho Seung-jin was awarded the rank of major general and died in October 1989 at the age of 88. And the second captain is Yu Quankun.

After Xiaoqiao's reorganization, he served as the second commander, the commander of the 2nd Regiment, the 8th Detachment of the 3rd Column and the commander of the 2nd Army Division of the Jizhong Military Region. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he served as the principal of the Military and Political Cadre School of the Jizhong Military Region and the commander of the 209th Division of the Hebei Military Region.

In 1955, he was awarded the rank of Major General and died on November 24, 1973, at the age of 69. He was joined by Shaq as the third captain.

Sha Ke, born in 1907, a native of Dandong, Liaoning Province, graduated from the Northeast Army Lecture Hall, and successively served as adjutant and company commander of the 647th Regiment of the 53rd Army of the Northeast Army, adjutant of the 691st Regiment and regimental headquarters, and acting battalion commander.

Later, he participated in the reorganization of Xiaoqiao and served as the commander of the third general commander, the head of the special regiment, the commander, chief of staff, and chief of staff of the 3rd Army Division of the Central Hebei Military Region, and the deputy chief of staff of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region.
