According to reports, this is another donation after the State Administration of Cultural Heritage twice promoted the re-entry of the bronze windows and copper window cores of Baoyun Pavilion into the Summer Palace, which is of great significance for restoring the complete appearance of the Baoyun Pavilion cultural relics building, enriching the cultural relics system in the collection of the Summer Palace, and stimulating the enthusiasm of the public to care about and support the cause of the cultural relics museum.
In the 31 years from 1993 to 2024, under the earnest attention and active promotion of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, and through the donations of friendly people at home and abroad, the copper windows and copper window cores that were lost in the history of Baoyun Pavilion have been returned to the Summer Palace one after another, and the integrity of the cultural relics of Baoyun Pavilion has been continuously restored. The Summer Palace expressed its sincere gratitude to the three donors, and hoped to take this opportunity to promote and gather a broader consensus on the protection of cultural relics on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the opening of the Summer Palace to the public, further stimulate the public's enthusiasm for the cause of cultural relics museums, and promote social forces to actively participate in the protection and utilization of cultural relics.
