During the Spring Festival, the Palace Museum is closed all day on Chinese New Year's Eve (February 9). It is open from the first day of the first lunar month (February 10) to the eighth day of the first lunar month (February 17). The earliest admission time is 8:30, the latest admission time is 15:30, and the museum will close from 16:30. Among them, the Treasure Hall and the Watch Hall need to purchase separate tickets for visits, and the three major exhibitions at the Meridian Gate and the Wenhua Hall exhibition all implement a real-name reservation system.
The "Visitor Service Center" is located on the west side of Duanmen Square, which is the first stop before entering the Palace Museum, providing ticketing consultation and item storage services. During the Spring Festival, the lock-in opens at 8:15 a.m. After the audience goes through the storage procedures, they can get the stored items at the two pick-up offices of Donghua Gate and Shenwu Gate after entering the open area as soon as 1 hour.

The Forbidden City Interpretation Service is located under the city wall south of the Wumen Gate Cave and provides multilingual automatic interpreters and manual interpretation services.
The automatic guide includes Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien, Tibetan, Uyghur, and 35 foreign languages such as English, French, and Russian, which can meet the needs of tourists from different countries and regions.
The wheelchair stroller rental office is located in the north of the Wumen Gate Cave and in the door opening on the west side of the Wing Gate. The return office is located on the west side of the inner Shenmu Gate.

During the Spring Festival, 40 cultural and creative spaces, 9 food and beverage areas, and 2 Palace Museum bookstores in the Palace Museum will welcome guests with new cultural and creative materials for the Year of the Dragon, special dining and cultural reading materials. In addition to the "Dragon Whisker Crisp Latte" and "Dragon Eye Milk Tea", the Dragon Corner Tower Coffee has launched a new series of special drinks with the theme of the Year of the Dragon, and also launched the leading macaron biscuits. The afternoon tea of Kunning East Courtyard has launched a new series of "Longyin Yayun", which shows traditional musical instruments such as guqin, chime, pipa, and drum in the form of desserts.
