A female passenger accidentally lost her handbag containing 8,100 yuan in cash on the platform of Wuhan Rail Transit Line 1. After receiving the request for help, the police of the Rail Transit Management Branch of the Wuhan Municipal Public Security Bureau quickly linked up with various stations to find it, and helped the female passenger find the lost property in 10 minutes.
According to the police at Hanxi 1st Road Station of Wuhan Rail Transit Line 1, at about 5:10 pm on February 17, she received a request for help from a passenger, Ms. Shi, saying that she entered the station from Hanxi 1st Road Station to take the light rail, and when she got off the train at Qiaokou Road Station, she found that her handbag was lost, which contained 8,100 yuan in cash and household registration book, medical insurance card, bank card and other items, and asked the police to help find it.
After receiving the request for help, the police checked the station monitoring, and at the same time reported the lost property information to all stations along Wuhan Rail Transit Line 1 to find out if anyone picked up a similar handbag and handed it in. At about 5:20 p.m. that day, good news came from Hanxi 1st Road Station, an enthusiastic female passenger picked up a similar handbag at the marble pillar of the platform and handed it to the subway station staff.
At about 5:30 p.m. on February 17, the police took Ms. Shi to the car control room of Hanxi 1st Road Station to retrieve the handbag. Upon counting, none of the contents of the handbag were missing.
Thank you very much for the help of the Wuhan Rail Public Security Police. Ms. Shi said that if the bag cannot be found, not only will there be financial losses, but it will also take a lot of time to reapply for a series of documents.
