I went to see "Hot and Hot" last night. If there was one word to describe how I felt, it would beShocking, veryShocking。I cried the whole time for the second half of the movie. Crying for seeing some of her past self from Du Leying, crying for a woman daring to win, and crying for Jia Ling's strength to finally stand there with tendons and flesh. (Theoretically, there should be a photo of Jia Ling's strong muscles before she played, but there is no official picture leaked out at present, all of them are stolen from movie theaters, so I won't put it first) Let's talk about the overall senses first. First of all, I don't think it's a "** movie" in other people's mouths.
may be because the earliest tag on the hot search is "Jia Ling lost 100 pounds", so many people, including myself, already have a seed that has been planted long ago before watching the movie, and they will silently think in their hearts "I see when she will lose weight", waiting for the known reversal. But in the process of watching the movie, this matter slowly faded away. I found that its core is not **, but "change".
Jia Ling did not change from a fat man to a thin man. She has changed from a woman with low self-esteem and cowardice, who struggles to walk, to a woman with dreams who can deadlift 120kg with her forehand and backhand, complete weight-bearing pull-ups, and want to win once. This change is really amazing, whether it is Du Leying in the movie or Jia Ling herself. 
I asked my friends who don't exercise much if they have any concrete experience of Jia Ling's later changes in the movie. She said that she didn't have a very clear concept, but she just thought it looked awesome and had a sour nose. But as a person who changed his mind two years ago and suddenly fell in love with sports, I really cried when I saw this. How difficult it is for a woman to grow strong muscles. She surprised me so much, she was so awesome, I can't imagine how hard it is to complete this leap in ability in less than a year. Let's talk about one detail that I find most impressive. There is a scene in the movie where Du Leying completes weight-bearing pull-ups, and in that scene, the picture is shot from behind, and I actually saw the "Christmas tree with back muscles" on her back, and tears came down. It has to be trained and how low the body fat is to be seen.

And through Jia Ling's record in the easter egg, it is not difficult to find that in order to make her figure look drier in the scene before the boxing match came to the stage, she must have undergone a painful dehydration and carbonization process. Therefore, it is unreasonable to only use the words "** movie" to pass by, and it simply obliterates most of Jia Ling's efforts. It's about change, about change when a woman becomes strong and becomes powerful. Secondly, I love the way it is marketed. I don't think there's anything wrong with taking out the most talked-about points in the movie and magnifying them. Aamir Khan can promote it like this, and so can Jia Ling. As long as it works, sells out, and draws audiences into the cinema, that's a commercial film, and that's a good marketing method. What's more, this is not a fraud, it is not a fraud with AI, but a practical year to complete the goal set by itself. In women's movies, almost no character dares to gamble like this, Jia Ling did it, then it is awesome. In 2024, it's good for women to have their ambitions written on their faces. In the original "100 Yuan Love", the last son and Yuji left together, and they were in "Pain, Pain, Pain...In the lyrics, I went to eat holding hands. But Du Leying didn't, she ran away by herself. She didn't choose the man who hurt her again. I prefer this ending. (Okay, spoiler ends).
If I were to score the overall adaptation without the ending, I would probably give it three to three and a half stars. The first half is indeed a bit procrastinating, and some plots will not affect much if they are deleted directly. I feel that in order to force Du Leying to that situation where she must change, too many events have been created, and there will be some redundancy. But as a whole, it seems to me that it is really flawed.
