As one of the art forms that have been passed down among the people for thousands of years, the New Year paintings that have been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people have formed different artistic styles and distinctive local characteristics in the long historical development, and contain rich connotations of excellent traditional culture. From February 2nd to 24th, sponsored by the Civilization Practice Bureau of the Propaganda Department, the Public Service Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the China Artists Association, the "New Life, New Fashion, New Year's Paintings" - our well-off life art exhibition was exhibited in Mianzhu, Sichuan, and a large number of excellent New Year's paintings with rich themes and diverse forms awakened people's cultural memory of the traditional Spring Festival.

This exhibition selected 152 works from nearly 5,000 submitted works for exhibition, and exhibited more than 60 outstanding works and New Year paintings of the Year of the Dragon. These works are in a variety of forms, including woodblock prints, folk paintings, peasant paintings, Chinese paintings, watercolor paintings, paper-cut collages, etc., as well as comprehensive paintings and digital paintings created by using new technologies and new means. At the opening ceremony of the "New Life, New Fashion, New Year Paintings" - our well-off life art exhibition, the China Artists Association, the Sichuan Provincial Artists Association and the people of Mianzhu City held a signing ceremony for pairing and co-construction, which will jointly promote the development of cultural inheritance in the future, help the cultural construction and rural revitalization of the hometown of traditional New Year paintings, and make art better pay attention to reality, feed back to the society and serve the people. Through the main exhibition in Sichuan, it also kicked off the prelude to a series of activities of "appreciating New Year's paintings for the New Year" across the country.
