Jose Mourinho will join a Saudi second-tier club and an agreement has been reached!
It is reported that before Roma was sacked, Mourinho had a stunning negotiation with a second-tier Saudi club. The former Chelsea and Red Devils manager left the club earlier this month after two and a half years in charge, bringing Roma to his final stop at Oba City. But since last summer, the Portuguese has been planning his next position.
There is news that Mourinho has spoken to Saudi Arabia's top player Kadesia. Robbie Fowler has been in charge since his fourth month. Despite not losing in the Premier League, Liverpool's legend has been replaced by former Sevilla FC and Marseille manager Charles Michel. However, the Spaniard, who is in his 60s, appears to be playing only a temporary role. It has been reported that Mourinho has agreed to keep Kadesia in charge of the Saudi Football League.
The 60-year-old had planned to move from Roma at the end of the season, but his premature departure may mean a new option. There have been reports that Cadesia are reluctant to give up Mourinho too soon so as not to jeopardize the team's promotion journey. Another option for the former Real Madrid and Milan manager is to return to Napoli, Italy, where he is still under a lot of pressure despite taking over as head coach last November.
Returning to the Premier League, Mourinho is undoubtedly an attractive option considering Saudi Arabia's favour of Newcastle. Despite the good and bad season, Newcastle's managers still have a lot of trust in Eddie Howe. Kadesia appear to be facing the question of whether they will do the summer too early or risk letting Mourinho leave Chelsea for another club or prospective national team.
