In February, Sweden, which is about to join NATO, is a "dark horse".
According to the Daily News, Sweden will provide Ukraine with the largest package of military aid to date, including 6$800 million in military equipment.
After Turkey approved Sweden's NATO accession by the Turkish parliament, Hungary's parliament is about to ratify, and Sweden has now cleared the last two obstacles to joining NATO.
Sweden, which is about to join NATO, has also made generous moves on the issue of aid to Ukraine and has taken its due responsibility.
A few days ago, Sweden announced that it would provide Ukraine with 7.1 billion Swedish kronor (about 6.1 billion Swedish kronor$800 million), which is the 15th military aid provided by Sweden to Ukraine and the largest amount to date. Includes:
10 CB90-class landing craft and assault craft;
20 G-class landing craft;
artillery ammunition; TOW anti-tank missiles;
portable anti-aircraft missile system RBS70;
Carl Gustaf grenade launcher, etc.
Sweden's aid this time ranges from surface ships to landing craft, from mines and torpedoes to artillery shells and air defense systems, and Sweden has provided all-round military support to Ukraine.
In particular, Sweden has provided Ukraine with 10 CB90 fast assault boats and 20 G-class landing craft, which are advanced boats that only have strong mobility and combat effectiveness on the battlefield, which is of great significance for improving the combat capability of the Ukrainian Navy.
Since the Russia-Ukraine war, Sweden's military aid to Ukraine has amounted to about $2 billion. Sweden is a small country in Northern Europe, with an area of just over 440,000 square kilometers and a population of 10.56 million, which is only equivalent to one of our prefecture-level cities. However, Sweden turned out to have a strong military production capacity, and even the United States and Russia were impressed.
