How to apply for Finland M1 certification? Finland M1 process

Mondo Social Updated on 2024-02-18

M1 certification is a Finnish certification for building emissions, and M1 is the highest level required, similar to the Blue Angel certification in Germany. Finland's M1 Mark certification is the first to scientifically use VOC emission (TVOC), which is directly related to health, as the environmental performance standard for coatings. M1 certification is the world's strictest, demanding product certification standards, its toxic emission standards for products are extremely demanding, and its standards (equivalent to the level of indoor glass odor volatilization, better than European standards) have reached the food and pharmaceutical grade standards. It is mainly for the detection of TVOC, formaldehyde, ammonia, carcinogens and odors of the products, and some products will be randomly selected for sensory evaluation.
