The Ukrainian rocket attack killed 20 civilians, which Russia strongly condemned

Russia** blamed the Armed Forces of Ukraine for using rocket artillery to shell a bakery in the city of Lisichansk, Luhansk Oblast, killing 20 civilians.

The leader of the Luhansk People's Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired rocket artillery at the bakery in Lisichansk, ** as a result of which several people were trapped under the rubble.

After the shelling, about 40 people were under the rubble, and so far rescuers have found 10 survivors and 20 bodies.

Preliminary data show that the Ukrainian military is using American-made Hippocampus rocket launchers. Russia accused Ukraine of using "Western **" in the attack and demanded "swift and unconditional condemnation" of the move by international organizations.

The city of Lisichansk in the Luhansk region covers an area of 101 square kilometers, about 15 kilometers from the Russian-Ukrainian front. Russia took control of the city in July 2022. When they withdrew from Lisichansk, the Ukrainian army destroyed part of the town hall and repeatedly shelled the city.

The situation in the Russian-Ukrainian war has not changed dramatically for several months. However, fighting between the two sides continues as Russia launches multiple attacks on Ukrainian positions.
