Founded in 1909 and recognized as a World Meteorological Organization (WMO) centennial meteorological station in 2023, the climate station has accumulated rich and valuable meteorological data, and has played an important role in the study of climate change and the development and utilization of climate resources in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and even Northeast and North China. 
Ice and snow events are greatly affected by meteorological conditions, such as wind speed, wind force, temperature, and visibility, which will directly affect the performance of athletes. Therefore, massive meteorological data and advanced observation equipment are not only the "ballast stone" of local disaster prevention and mitigation and meteorological scientific research, but also the "reassurance" of high-level service for the "14th Winter". 
In order to provide meteorological services for the event, we set up a meteorological center for the venue, set up a meteorological service support team of 17 people, set up a temporary party branch, formulated detailed work processes and emergency plans, and set up 2 sets of regional automatic weather stations and 1 set of portable automatic weather stations around the stadium to ensure timely and accurate transmission of meteorological observation data and refined weather forecasts to everyone.
