Recently, we got some spies for the Kia EV9 GT from abroad. The car is a mid-to-large all-electric SUV that is a performance-enhancing version of the Kia EV9. The car is expected to be equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, which could exceed 600 horsepower, and is expected to be launched in early 2025.
Externally, the car is covered in heavy camouflage, but as can be seen through the camouflaged holes, its LED headlight clusters are the same as those of the regular EV9. The new car will largely inherit the design style of the regular EV9, but may add sportier front and rear surrounds. There is also a label on the body with the word "GT" written on it, which indicates that the car is a high-performance version of the EV9.
From the side, the car gets sleek mirrors, striking green brake calipers, and minimalist five-spoke wheels, which may only be for testing, while the production model may be equipped with more sporty wheels. At the rear, there is a red reflector in the same position as the regular EV9, which further confirms the model of this car.
In terms of power, it is expected that the car will be equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, and the maximum power is expected to exceed 600 horsepower. It is also possible that it will use the same powertrain as the Kia EV6, which has a maximum power of 585 horsepower.
