Liu Jun, Executive Vice President of Lenovo Group and President of Lenovo China, was invited to give a keynote speech on behalf of Lenovo Group on behalf of Lenovo Group, introducing Lenovo's full-stack intelligence strategy in detail, and announcing Lenovo's AI-oriented infrastructure layout of "one horizontal and five vertical" for the first time.
Among them, "one horizontal" refers to the heterogeneous intelligent computing platform, which can manage general computing clusters, scientific computing clusters and AI computing power clusters in a unified manner, and can greatly optimize the efficiency of computing power through heterogeneous management and scheduling of multiple CPUs, GPUs, DPUs and other processors, helping users use computing resources simply and efficiently. The "five verticals" refer to server, storage, software and hyper-convergence, data networks, and edge infrastructure products and solutions.
As one of the world's leading technology companies, Lenovo has a proven track record of excellence in a number of areas. At present, Lenovo is the world's largest scientific computing, the third largest infrastructure and server vendor, and the third largest storage provider in the world. Lenovo has a complete layout of general computing, scientific computing, intelligent computing, and edge computing, demonstrating its comprehensiveness and leadership in computing network construction. At the same time, Lenovo has also made important breakthroughs in liquid cooling technology, comprehensively laying out liquid cooling technologies such as cold plate and immersion, and building a number of industry-leading liquid cooling data centers. These technologies not only improve the energy efficiency of data centers, but also provide strong support for Lenovo's intelligent transformation.
Globally, Lenovo's complete, stable and efficient AI-oriented infrastructure is taking root. In the Torre Girona Church in Barcelona, where MWC was held, the Barcelona Scientific Computing Center, built and delivered by Lenovo, was deployed, known as "the most beautiful scientific computing center in the world". This center is not only one of the most powerful, energy-efficient and environmentally friendly scientific computing clusters in the world, but also supports research in many European countries in many fields, demonstrating Lenovo's international influence in computing network construction.
In China, with the full launch of the "Eastern Data and Western Computing" strategy, Lenovo is accelerating its participation in the construction of China's computing power network. Taking the Gansu Zijin Cloud Public Computing Center as an example, the center adopts the overall high-performance computing solution built by Lenovo, which not only undertakes the function of a collaborative hub between the west and the east, but also delivers advanced computing power to the computing and storage resource needs of the northwest region. This center has become the largest high-performance computing platform in Gansu and the first to be put into commercial use in northwest China, setting a new milestone for Lenovo's computing network construction in China.
Looking ahead, Lenovo will continue to deepen its full-stack intelligence strategy, continuously improve its AI-oriented infrastructure layout, and accelerate the construction and implementation of computing power networks. At the same time, Lenovo will actively embrace new technologies and applications, work with global partners to promote the in-depth development of intelligent transformation, and contribute more to the construction of a smart society.
