Hello everyone! The theme I share today is: "Your interest is worth tens of millions. ”

When it comes to my interests, it's actually about giving ideas to others, and when others are happy, I'm happy. However, my path to monetizing my interest has not been smooth sailing, but has been bumpy. I'm sure you've heard a lot of lofty legends, so I'll go the other way and talk about my "tragic experience" for everyone's reference.

My first job was in a state-owned distillery. With a high salary, a large scale, and a lot of money and little to do, it can be said that I have reached the end point that many young people expected at that time when I was just starting out.

However, state-owned enterprises also have the need to streamline their staff. Once, our leader said to me: "Qinglei, we are going to streamline the personnel - the most fair way to draw lots, you are from other places, we take care of you, you catch first." ”

As a result, as soon as I caught it, I naturally grabbed the word "go", I was willing to gamble and lose, and I only hated my luck for not catching the care of the leader.

Until one day, my dad asked me, "Did you lose your job?" I said, "Yes, bad luck, the lot was taken." ”

He said: "You are so stupid, all the lotteries are written as 'go.'" ”

It dawned on me that my young self had been taught a lesson in this society that was gentle on the surface, but in fact harsh.

Later, under the care of my family, I returned to the state-owned enterprise. But I'm not happy anymore, I don't want my work value to be tied to "good leadership relationships", and I don't want to be like my leader. I don't want to live a peaceful, stable life with a clear end in sight.

I didn't want to be like this, and I told myself: this is not what I like, not what I want.

So I hid from my family and resolutely quit my job and went to Beijing to seek new opportunities.

At that time, the advertising industry in Beijing was booming, so I joined a local advertising agency. They promised me a salary of 3,000 yuan a month, and I thought to myself, it would be a good experience to be able to explore the capital.

However, when I arrived, the company told me that the salary during the probation period was only 1,500 yuan, and that I might not get the promised amount after becoming a regular - I was beaten up by society again.

In **, I confided in my wife who was far away from home, and the more I talked, the more helpless I felt, and I even cried under the Four Seasons Green Bridge.

At that time, I had no way out and was in a desperate situation, but wasn't that how the term Jedi Strike Back was invented? I squatted in an Internet café and submitted countless resumes day and night.

Just when I was about to give up hope, I suddenly received a **, the other party claimed to be an HR from Dentsu, and invited me to go for an interview. After several weeks of fruitless job hunting, this passage is undoubtedly a ray of hope for me.

During the interview, I barely spoke, just listened quietly. After the interview, I thought to myself that this time I must be out of the show. But unexpectedly, a week later, Dentsu informed me that I could be hired.

Curious, I asked the interviewer why I was hired even though I barely spoke during the interview. He said that he liked my listening skills during the interview. Listening attentively is precisely the best way to make the speaker feel that they are being cared for.

I often think later that maybe my innermost love of being considerate of others – was manifested at that time and really touched others.

We must listen to our inner voice and find out what lies behind that voice.

In my case, I am passionate about exploring new things, solving new problems, and serving others every day to gain a sense of my own worth. In a way, my work and life are perfectly integrated.

Then a new question arises: when you find yourself interested in something, how do you seize the opportunity to actually do it?

Once, I took over a project from a European and American company, and many people thought that the project could not be successful. However, I led a small team of several young designers and took over without hesitation.

It was a fulfilling time, but it was also very hard, we even set up temporary sleeping bags in the company, and a month later, the project was successfully completed.

Why am I so motivated? Many people ask me, "Aren't you tired?" ”

I wasn't thinking about time or money, but about my ability to provide valuable ideas, which was my innermost calling that drove me to do it.

A few days ago, I was playing cards with my friends in a team building, and I was missing one, so I called a little girl to come over.

This little girl has a good card style, and she doesn't leave a back hand every time, but in the end she loses 300 yuan.

Later, I asked her, "Why are you so happy when you lost 300 yuan?" She said, "You don't understand at all, if I spend 300 yuan to ask the three of you to play with me, are you willing?" ”

I said, "Of course not." She replied, "Look, I used 300 yuan to let you have such a good time with me, didn't I?" ”

We are looking for winning, and she is looking for enjoyment, and we are not in the same dimension at all.

Sometimes we emphasize the importance of deliberate practice, believing that you have to put your heart into something. But I think that if doing something requires extreme effort and pain, then it's probably not for you.

Taking reading books as an example, I think the work itself is a bit against human nature. Imagine how lonely and painful it is to be alone and quietly reading a book? Our eyes are born to look far away, while reading requires us to stare at the near distance for long periods of time, which in itself is a deliberate act, and almost all deliberate actions are against human nature.

But when you really sink into the book, into the flow that comes with reading, that feeling is so wonderful. The process of reading is a process of overcoming our own instinctual inertia, and it is also the process of changing ourselves from a person driven by instinct to a person who works hard because of love.

If you're passionate about something, it's natural to put a lot of time and effort into it. Therefore, I often say that opportunities are always reserved for those who are well prepared. If you don't have a chance, don't prepare blindly, why?

Because if you get into a field that others are already passionate about, it's hard to beat those who are already deep in the field.

What is the orientation of life?

It is to find a place where you can roll all your opponents to death, you let him roll others, you can't let others roll you, this is the positioning of life.

Sometimes we often go into other people's battlefields, and we are very tired. Why? Because you've entered someone else's battlefield, that's something that someone else is preparing for all the time.

Therefore, we must occupy our own territory.

Now that I'm a real estate agent, one might wonder, why did I get involved in this field?

In fact, when I decided to join this industry, many friends advised me: "Qinglei, why did you choose to go to an intermediary company?" You used to work in well-known companies such as Wanda and Dangdang, which had a great impact on your career path. ”

But I realized that at Wanda, I was just a screw and didn't have much room to play, and that was the first thing that prompted me to make the change.

The second reason is that at the end of 2016, house prices soared. At that time, I had not yet joined an intermediary company, I went to Yanjiao for an investigation, and originally I just wanted to rent a house. But when I saw the rush there, I felt a sense of urgency that I had to buy right away.

As a result, I bought a house on the same day, and the ** at that time was close to 40,000 yuan per square meter. Two months later, Beijing regulated the property market policy, and the house I bought was about 15.6 million yuan.

This experience had a great impact on me, and I realized that there are many high-net-worth clients in this industry, but the professionalism and quality of service providers are not high.

In the internet industry, we are always looking for pain points and problems, and the real estate industry is full of problems, which is exactly what I love. I love making suggestions, I love solving problems, and this challenge excites me. So I came to this industry.
