The Spring Festival is approaching, in order to meet the health examination needs of the elderly with limited mobility in the region, the physical examination team of the Yanshan District Community Health Service Center went deep into the homes of the elderly in the jurisdiction to carry out health examination services and send them warmth.
Aunt Wang, a 71-year-old woman who lives in Xiangyangli Community, is paralyzed in her lower limbs due to spinal cord demyelination disease, and cannot take care of herself, and is taken care of by her 75-year-old wife, Uncle Zhang, who also suffers from chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and coronary heart disease. After understanding the situation, the physical examination team actively connected with the neighborhood committee, contacted the elderly in advance, and informed the precautions before the physical examination in detail.
Early in the morning of February 4, the medical staff of the physical examination team came to the home of the elderly with heavy examination equipment to conduct routine examinations such as blood collection, electrocardiogram, ultrasound, blood pressure measurement, and internal medicine. The team doctors also inquired about the lifestyle of the elderly, assessed their physical condition, and gave corresponding health guidance and suggestions based on physical examination, current medical history and medication.
Up to now, the Yanshan District Community Health Service Center has conducted home physical examinations for 10 elderly people with reduced mobility, which has been unanimously praised by the elderly and their families.
