The investigation report pointed out that before the outbreak of the corruption case of Lin Longji and three others, the procurement case of the 205 factory of Taiwan's "Armaments Bureau" failed to pass the acceptance, and the proportion of cases that finally agreed to accept the price reduction was high, and from 2019 to 2021, the number of cases of agreeing to accept the price reduction reached 112, accounting for an average of 1071%, after the incident, the factory took intensive measures such as "improving the setting of specifications", and from 2022 to last year, it agreed to accept 21 cases at a reduced price, and the average proportion was reduced to 364%。
Taiwan's procuratorial organs pointed out that although Taiwan's "Armaments Bureau" has indicated that Factory No. 205 has agreed to accept cases at a reduced price, and that it will ensure its function and safety before accepting it, the poor efficiency of procurement will not only affect the schedule of military supplies but may also trigger incentives for bribery.
