In 2023, the total number of copyright registrations in the country will reach 8923901, a year-on-year increase of 4046%。
2. Copyright registration of works.
According to the statistics of the copyright offices of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and the China Copyright Protection Center, a total of 6428277 copyright registrations will be completed across the country in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 4230%。
The number of copyright registrations of works in the country has shown a significant growth trend, and the number of registrations is relatively large: 1101072 in Beijing, accounting for 17 of the total number of registrations13%；873826 in Shandong Province, accounting for 13 of the total number of registrations59%；710648 in Fujian Province, accounting for 11 of the total number of registrations06%；493,070 cases were filed by the China Copyright Protection Center, accounting for 7 of the total number of registrations67%；412,660 in Shanghai, accounting for 6 of the total number of registrations42%。The above registrations account for 55 of the total number of registrations in the country87%。Compared with 2022, the number of copyright registrations in Henan, Shandong, Fujian, Hebei, Jiangxi, Yunnan, and Qinghai has increased by more than 100%;The number of copyright registrations in Xinjiang, Hunan, Guangxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Tianjin, and Jilin has increased by more than 50%.
In terms of the types of works, the largest number of registrations was 3296437 art works, accounting for 51 of the total number of registrations28%；The second is 2501968 photographic works, accounting for 38 of the total number of registrations92%；The third is 329128 literary works, accounting for 5 of the total number of registrations12%；The fourth is 118544 film and television works, accounting for 1 of the total number of registrations84%。The number of copyright registrations of the above types of works accounted for 97 percent of the total number of registrations17%。In addition, there were 42,793 video products, accounting for 067%；35,547 graphic works, accounting for 055%；*25,766 works, accounting for 0 of the total number of registrations40%；19,446 phonograms were recorded, accounting for 0 percent of the total number of registrations30%；A total of 5,946 models, dramas, operas, and architectural works were registered, accounting for 009%。
3. Registration of computer software copyrights.
According to the statistics of computer software copyright registration information of the China Copyright Protection Center, a total of 2495213 computer software copyright registrations will be completed across the country in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 3595%, the number of registrations and the growth rate have reached a new high in five years.
From the perspective of the distribution of registration areas, the computer software copyright registration areas are mainly distributed in the eastern region, with about 1.47 million registrations, accounting for 59% of the total number of registrations.
From the perspective of the number of registrations in each region, the provinces (cities) with the largest number of computer software copyright registrations are: Guangdong, Beijing, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Sichuan, Shandong, Hubei, Anhui and Shaanxi. A total of about 1.75 million software copyrights have been registered in the above-mentioned areas, accounting for 70% of the total number of registrations. Among them, more than 260,000 software copyrights have been registered in Guangdong Province, accounting for 11% of the total number of registrations.
4. Registration of copyright pledge.
According to the statistics of copyright pledge registration information of the China Copyright Protection Center, a total of 411 copyright pledge registrations will be completed across the country in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 1743%；The number of contracts involved was 382, a year-on-year increase of 3127%；The number of works involved was 2,082, a year-on-year increase of 3688%；The amount of the main debt involved 99581740,000 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8282%；The amount of guarantee involved 985783880,000 yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8085%。
