More than three months of fighting have now been going on in Gaza, while tensions between Israel and Palestine continue. The United States, as a solid ally of Israel and the largest patron of Palestine, plays a very key role in this battle. So what do Americans think of this battle?

A new poll conducted by Harvard University shows that Americans remain strong supporters of Israel while expressing dissatisfaction with Hamas groups in Palestine. While Americans have different opinions on this, in general, Israel has gained more support as it gets older.

In particular, 83 percent of the American public believes that Hamas***'s attack on Israel on the seventh day is a terrorist act, and only 17 percent disagree. Ninety-four percent of Americans aged 65 or older believed the attack was terrorist, compared with 74 percent of Americans between the ages of 18 and 24.

In addition, 74 percent of the American people believe that Hamas's attack is a big attack against the Jews, and 75 percent of the American people believe that the Palestinian people's ** does not justify Hamas's attack. This perception is more susceptible to suspicion among young Americans. For example, only 54 percent of Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 feel that the Hamas attacks are justified, compared with 78 percent of Americans between the ages of 45 and 54, 87 percent between the ages of 54 and 65, and 92 percent of Americans aged 65 or older.

When asked who to side with, 80 percent of Americans say they prefer Israel over Hamas. In terms of age structure, 57 percent of Americans are 18 to 24 years old, 70 percent are 25 to 44 years old, 70 percent are Israeli, 80 percent are 45 to 54 years old, 90 percent are 54 to 65 years old, and 93 percent of Americans over 65 years old are Israeli.

This figure reflects the general American mentality: the older you get, the more you experience, the better you understand Israel. Young, newly grown Americans have not experienced anything and have not experienced anything, so they treat Israel with even more indifference.

This is similar to the situation in my country, and the more experienced people are, the more they will have compassion for Israel.

The poll also sheds some light on the U.S. diplomatic strategy toward Palestine and Israel. It's an election year in the United States, and Trump has a good chance of being re-elected. The relationship between the United States and Israel will become even closer than the current Biden**. It also reflects the tendency of Americans to support bipartisan views on the war in Gaza.

Only 39 percent of Americans support Biden's Gaza policy, down 6 percent from the previous poll. During this month, Biden and the Israeli authorities have had many disagreements on many issues in the wake of the Gaza war.
