Manchester United could sign five players on loan in January, including Jadon Sancho, who is looking to revive his career at Borussia Dortmund. Jadon Sancho could be one of five players to leave United on loan in the January transfer window. The winger has been left out of the first team for months under Ten Hag and is always expected to retire in the New Year. Sancho appears to have no future in Manchester, while the Dutchman is at the helm and a deal to travel to Dortmund is now being discussed.
It was in Germany that Jadon Sancho's first rise to prominence prompted United to spend more than £70 million on the England international, but he has since fallen out of favour with Gareth Southgate's Three Lions. Facundo Pellistri is another striker who could leave Manchester temporarily. The young Uruguayan is hungry for regular playing time and Old Trafford is not offering that opportunity. He has previously travelled to Alaves in Spain and is currently exploring his options again.
According to MEN, Sevilla are one of the teams tracking Pellistri and Everton are also keeping a close eye on the player. Hannibal Mejbri and Dan Gore, who recently left Birmingham City, are both younger talents who could gain experience elsewhere. Joe Hugill, who was on the bench in Monday night's FA Cup win over Wigan, recently signed a new contract. The 20-year-old striker recently played for Altrincham and is expected to leave to develop further.
This time last year, Ten Hag used the January window to sign the likes of Wout Weghorst, Marcel Sabitzer and Jake Buttland on loan. With United struggling with results and in need of a fresh injection, the Dutchman may have to venture into the temporary market again, a possibility he hasn't ruled out.
