The first general of Hanxuan Zhongxing

Zhao Chongguo, the word Weng Sun, Longxi Shangtai people. He was born in the first year of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty and was the first general of the Xuan Emperor period.

Zhao Chongguo has been good at riding and shooting since he was a child, brave and strategic, and familiar with the habits of the Xiongnu and Diqiang. During the time of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, he joined the army as a son of a good family, and followed the second division general Li Guangli to attack the Xiongnu. Later, he accompanied the commander Li Ling to conquer the Xiongnu, but was besieged by the Xiongnu army, and the Han army suffered heavy losses. Zhao Chongguo led more than 100 strong men to break through and suffered more than 20 wounds. When Emperor Wu learned of this, he personally met with him, checked on his injuries, and appointed him as the general of the chariot cavalry.

After Emperor Zhao of the Han Dynasty ascended the throne, Zhao Chongguo was awarded the title of Marquis of Yingping for his meritorious participation in the establishment of Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty. In the first years, the Qiang tribes jointly launched a rebellion and attacked the border of the Han Dynasty. Zhao Chongguo was ordered to lead the Han army to conquer, adopt the strategy of division and disintegration, and defeat each to quell the rebellion of the Qiang people. He also suggested to Emperor Xuan that the Tuntian policy be implemented in the Qiang region to consolidate the defense of the frontier.

In his later years, Zhao Chongguo repeatedly wrote to request retirement, but Emperor Xuan did not approve it. He eventually died at the age of seventy-five, and was nicknamed Marquis Zhuang. Zhao Chongguo made important contributions to the border stability and national unity of the Han Dynasty during his lifetime, and was praised as "Tuntian Famous General" by later generations.

Zhao Chongguo's life is an epic full of legends. He has gradually grown from an ordinary soldier to a generation of famous generals, and has experienced countless baptisms of war. His courage, wisdom, and loyalty earned him the trust and appreciation of three generations of emperors, Emperor Wu of Han, Emperor Zhao of Han, and Emperor Xuan of Han.

His achievements lie not only in his outstanding military exploits, but also in his great contributions to the stability of the Han Dynasty's borders and national unity. His policy of tuntian land provided valuable experience for later generations and also made important contributions to China's agricultural development.

Although Zhao Chongguo is gone, his name and deeds will forever be etched in the long river of Chinese history. His spirit and character will inspire future generations to continue to pursue excellence and strive for the prosperity of the country and the nation.
