Nanxun Ancient Town is located in Nanxun District, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province.
Located in Nanxun Ancient Town at the junction of Jiangsu and Zhejiang, bordering Taihu Lake in the north, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province in the east, and in the central hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration, 318 National Highway, Shensu-Zhejiang-Anhui Expressway, Beijing-Hangzhou Canal and Changhu Shen Channel, which is known as the "Little Rhine River of the East", passes through the border, and is about 100 kilometers away from Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou and other cities, with obvious location and transportation advantages.

Little Lotus Village:It is located in the southwest of Nanxun Ancient Town, west of Wangu Bridge, and is a famous garden in the ancient town. Xiaolianzhuang is the private garden of Liu Yong, a doctor of Tongfeng in the late Qing Dynasty, and his son Liu Jinzao. Founded in the 11th year of Guangxu (1885), it is composed of three parts: Yizhuang, family temple and garden. The main body of the garden is the lotus pond, whenever the pond lotus is in full bloom, the wind sets the incense flow, the water and wood Qinghua, and Xun Coke also. Xiaolianzhuang is adjacent to Jiaye Library, and outside the park is Partridge Creek.
Jiayetang Library Building:The library is the spiritual home of ancient Chinese literati. When designing the library, bibliophiles usually pursue the harmony and unity of man and nature, and use architectural modeling, building materials and landscape design to organically combine the library building with nature, so as to create an elegant private space, create a good reading atmosphere, and integrate people's thoughts and feelings and the spirit of the book collection into the natural environment. The design of Jiayetang Library has a typical representative significance in Jiangnan Library.
Jiaye Library was founded by Liu Chenggan, the grandson of Liu Yong, the "head of the four elephants" in Nanxun. Liu Chenggan named the library with the word "Jiaye" on the plaque of "Qinruo Jiaye" given by Emperor Puyi of the Qing Dynasty.
The library building is a combination of Chinese and Western garden style layout, mouth type cloister hall building, all the wooden windows are hollowed out carved with the words "Jiaye Tang Library Building", outside the building is a large garden, pond, rockery. The landscape design, architectural layout, fire and moisture prevention, book collection display, and even the decoration and binding of bookcase doors and windows all fully reflect the wisdom and talent of traditional Chinese literati and skilled craftsmen.
After 1949, the Jiayetang Library became part of the Zhejiang Library. The Jiayetang Library is a microcosm of the transformation from a private library to a modern public library.
Zhang Shiming's Former Residence:It is also known as Yidetang. It covers an area of 6,500 square meters, with a construction area of 7,000 square meters, and 150 buildings of Chinese and Western styles. It is a classic building with a combination of Chinese and Western styles.
100 floors:It is located on both sides of the Baijianlou River in the east of Nanxun Ancient Town. Baijianlou River starts from the east suspension bridge in the east and reaches the gate pile bridge in the north. Hundreds of buildings are built along the river, about 400 meters long, for the Ming Dynasty Wanli (1573-1620) Ministry of Rites Shangshu, Nanxun people Dong Fen built. Hundreds of buildings because of the river on both sides of the river to build hundreds of buildings, and set up a long slab stone bridge to connect the two sides, so it is called "hundreds of buildings".
Nanxun Ancient Town, Huzhou, although famous for the mansion courtyards and library buildings of the wealthy merchants, has a quieter environment than Xitang and Wuzhen, and is known as the "State of Culture" and "the Hometown of Poetry and Books".
