Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that Xavi Alonso will succeed him as Real Madrid manager in the future.
Former Liverpool favourite Marcos Alonso is the front-runner replacing Jurgen Klopp, with his nine-year spell at Anfield set to end this summer.
Carlo Ancelotti was rumoured to leave Madrid in 2024, but he signed a contract extension in December to extend his tenure at Real Madrid until 2026.
Alonso, meanwhile, has impressed fans and clubs with 143 appearances for Liverpool. At the moment, he impresses as Bayer Leverkusen's manager, who sit top of the Bundesliga, five points ahead of Bayern Munich, who beat on Saturday.
