iNeos recently unveiled its third new car, the Fusilier, which is also the brand's first all-electric SUV, with a boxy retro styling element and a complete integration into the brand's family-oriented style. In addition to the all-electric power, the Fusilier also offers a gas-powered range extender option.
ineos unveiled its third new car, the Fusilier.
According to Ineos officials, Fusilier will offer world-class off-road capabilities with zero compromise on on-road performance . Shorter and lower than its big brother, the Grenadier, the Fusilier will be built on a skateboard platform with a steel roof, steel underbody and alloy doors.
"When developing the new Fusilier, we quickly concluded that in order to decarbonize while continuing to make the cars consumers want to drive, we need hybrid powertrain technology and meet the needs of long, short and urban journeys," said Jim Ratcliffe, CEO of Ineos.
Ineos has signed an agreement with Magna to produce the Fusilier, which means that the SUV will go into series production at the Graz plant in Austria and will be launched alongside models from different brands such as the G-Class, BMW Z4, Toyota Supra and Fisker Ocean.
Judging from the ** released by ineos, the Fusilier has the rugged elements of a traditional off-road vehicle, including rounded headlights, all-terrain tires, front crash guards, and a high-angle front bumper. The clamshell hood and door design are reminiscent of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class or Land Rover Defender. In addition, orange reflectors can be seen on both sides of the front of the car, which correspond to the design of the U.S. model, and the possibility of introducing it to the North American market in the future is not ruled out.
It is understood that the original factory will disclose more details about the Fusilier power system and equipment as soon as this autumn, so please pay attention to the follow-up report.
