From January 9 to 12, 2024, Hesai Technology will be exhibiting at CES 2024, the world's largest consumer electronics show (Booth No.: West Hall 5967). As a global leader in the LiDAR industry, Hesai has participated in the event for six consecutive years to showcase the company's latest advancements in LiDAR technology to the global market. At this year's CES, Hesai showcased its two automotive-grade blockbuster products, the AT512 and the ultra-thin ET25 in the cabin, while Hesai also exhibited the application of LiDAR in robots with customers and partners, attracting the attention of people from around the world.

The display of the new generation of LiDAR products has attracted wide attention

Hesai's newly released AT series "pinnacle of comprehensive performance" AT512 is a 512-line ultra-high-definition ultra-long-range LiDAR, which can achieve a standard distance measurement of 300 meters (@10% reflectivity) and a maximum range measurement capability of 400 meters for production vehicles equipped with intelligent driving systems. Thanks to the greatly improved integration of Hesai*** chips, the AT512 can reach a frequency of more than 12.3 million points per second, with a global uniform of 005° x 0.05° angular resolution for image-level ultra-clear 3D perception.

The launch of the AT512 refreshes the definition of a performance benchmark in the LiDAR industry and demonstrates Hesai's excellent self-development capabilities.

The AT512 inherits the mature platform-based architecture design of the AT series, and has successfully proven its reliability and mass production delivery capabilities. Since mass production and delivery in 2022, the AT128, a high-performance long-range lidar based on the AT platform, has enabled a number of passenger models such as Li and Lotus Eletre to be launched. On the order of 100,000+ units, Hesai's LiDAR products have successfully passed the quality verification of users for more than a year, and have always maintained excellent performance and stability in the face of severe working conditions such as severe cold, heat, vibration, dust, rain and snow. At present, Hesai has been designated for more than 50 models of pre-assembly mass production projects by 15 leading OEMs and Tier-1 customers, and achieved a monthly delivery volume of more than 50,000 units in December last year, once again setting a new monthly delivery record in the industry.

At the same time, at CES, Hesai made its first public appearance of the automotive-grade ultra-thin long-range LiDAR ET25 in overseas markets. As the star product that won the CES 2024 Innovation Award, the ET25 fully demonstrated the hard-core technical strength of "thin, but powerful", and the integrated solution behind the windshield of the product on display aroused the audience's keen attention.

The ET25 has an extremely thin and light body of 25 mm, which is not only drag-friendly and dirt-free behind the front windscreen, but also makes the overall body design smoother. Based on Hesai's self-developed laser transceiver module, the ET25 improves the ranging capability of the 905 nm LiDAR to more than 250 meters (10% reflectivity), helping smart vehicles to judge risks and make safer decisions in complex road conditions in a timely manner. In addition, the ET25 also has the superior characteristics of low power consumption and low noise, with a power of only 12W, and the noise level when operating in the cabin is less than 25 decibels, which is lower than the noise level in the quiet library, providing drivers and passengers with an ultra-quiet travel experience. The ET25 has been designated for mass production of the FAW Hongqi brand's next-generation flagship pure electric model, and is expected to be mass-produced and delivered in the first half of 2025.

The application display of intelligent robots attracted the attention of the audience

Hesai's LiDAR products are not only widely used in autonomous and intelligent driving vehicles, but also empower a wider range of robotics fields, liberating humans from heavy, dangerous or repetitive tasks, improving efficiency, and promoting the intelligent upgrading of the industry. At CES, Hesai and its partners Segway Robotics and N**Vis showcased the application of LiDAR in robotics.

As a leader in the digitalization of indoor spaces, N**Vis provides leading digital scanning and 3D modeling technologies to create highly realistic and information-rich digital twin factories for large commercial and industrial enterprises. The VLX3, a mobile mapping product that provides real-time feedback, is equipped with two Hesai 360° rotating mid-range LiDAR XT32s to perceive high-detail indoor and outdoor environments over a wide area. Compact, lightweight, and cost-effective, the XT Series enables a wide range of handheld applications to deliver rich perception.

In addition, Hesai and Segway Robotcis jointly exhibited the Nova Carter Mobile Robot (AMR) equipped with XT32 LiDAR. Built on NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin System-on-Modules, Nova Carter is a customizable robotics platform for industry developers that enables ROS 2 accelerated computing with full 360° perception capabilities from cameras and lidar. With its high accuracy, zero blind spots, and high reliability, Hesai's XT series LiDAR enables Nova Carter to easily complete a number of complex tasks, including 3D environment perception, automatic navigation, surveying and mapping, and more. The product is available in North America.

Yifan Li, Co-Founder and CEO of Hesai, said, "Hesai has established a leading position in the three major business areas of ADAS, autonomous driving, and robotics, providing high-performance, high-quality, and low-cost LiDAR products to customers in more than 40 countries around the world. We look forward to empowering more intelligent robot applications with high-definition 3D perception capabilities, making future travel safer and life more efficient and comfortable." ”

In the future, Hesai will continue to deepen the field of intelligent driving and robotics, and continuously enrich its product line through technology iteration to meet the application needs of LiDAR technology in the global market. At the same time, with its cutting-edge technological strength, high-performance products, and excellent mass production and delivery capabilities, Hesai will actively expand the global market and bring consumers a safer and more comfortable intelligent driving experience.
