It's been 37 years since I lived in the old house, and it's like heaven and earth compared to this. Wu Minjun, a villager in Shuguang Village, Maogang Town, looked at the bright new home and smiled from ear to ear. This Spring Festival, the villagers of Shuguang Village ushered in a great joy - moving to a new house.

In the first phase of the project community, where farmers in Shuguang Village live relatively intensively, a brand new three-story small building is impressive. As early as September 2023, the villagers received the keys and began to renovate and carry out the construction, and now they are moving into warm new houses one after another.

Walking into Wu Minjun's new home, the new Chinese decoration style is eye-catching, the living room and kitchen are spacious and tidy, and the solid wood furniture is very coordinated. "The first floor is well maintained with floor tiles, and the staircase bedrooms are covered with wooden floors, which is more comfortable for the feet. Wu Minjun enthusiastically introduced the ingenuity incorporated into the decoration of the new home. Wu Minjun told reporters that the house he lived in before was very dilapidated, and he didn't want to invest too much energy in repairing it, so he heard that it could be translated, and he was the first to sign up.

Chen Jun, deputy secretary of the general party branch of Shuguang Village, introduced that the registration for the relatively concentrated residential project of farmers in Shuguang Village was launched in May 2020, and the first phase of the project was voluntarily registered by villagers, and then ranked according to the principle of priority resettlement along the high-voltage high-speed railway, dilapidated houses, and planning areas, and finally produced the first batch of 154 villagers. After the year, Shuguang Village will put the finishing touches on the greening and asphalt pavement of the first phase of the project community.
