At the 4th Greater Bay Area Kapok Forum, Wu Yanhua, Vice President of Zhumang Technology, shared the theme of "Super Factory: Where is the Hard Core? The situation of bamboo mangs is introduced. Zhumang Technology has gone from a small company in this industry to a company that can be called the head of the industry in terms of market share and revenue scale today. Why can Zhumang go from a company that was not well known to the public in the early stage of this industry to a company that can be called the head of the industry in terms of market share and revenue scale? Our company is called "Bamboo Mang", and we think that "Bamboo Mang" is a more poetic name, which is taken from Su Dongpo's "Bamboo Cane Mang's Shoes Light Victory Horse". The description of this poem is more in line with the situation of the enterprise at the beginning. When we first named the company, we were thinking about what kind of name we could use to represent us, and it was a coincidence that we saw Su Dongpo's poem at that time: Don't listen to the sound of the forest beating the leaves, why not chant and walk slowly. Bamboo cane shoes are lighter than horses, who is afraid? A cloud of smoke and rain is Ren Ping's life. No matter how big the company is in the future, we hope that we will not forget the spirit of helping the world at the beginning.
In 2016, Zhumang began to enter the power bank industry, and in 2017 and 2018, the company developed rapidly. The company went from only three people in 2016 to two hundred people at the end of 2019.
Although there was an epidemic in 2020, Zhumang still made a decision at that time and became the company with the largest shipments in this industry. In 2021, Sodian merged with Street Electric, and so far Zhumang was born. In 2022, Zhumang will officially become a relatively strong company in this industry in terms of scale, product line, and comprehensive team capabilities.
The most complete industrial chain, how to explain this? Because the starting platform is not so big, and several of our partners are not engaged in manufacturing, there is no way to find a very powerful factory to cooperate with us and help us polish our products, so we were forced to choose a relatively difficult road, and we began to build factories, study production lines, and optimize our production lines.
In this process, we have honed our own R&D and manufacturing capabilities, and in the past few years, we have been fortunate to reserve the resources of our own industrial chain. In this process, we are also thinking about what else Zhumang can do in the future?
Next, you will see that Zhumang Technology has launched more shared two-wheeled vehicle charging piles, new energy vehicle charging piles, shared crane machines, unmanned retail sales cabinets shared by offices, including direct drinking water purifiers shared by offices.
In 2020, we confirmed that we have these independent R&D capabilities and manufacturing capabilities, and after doing these things, we also started a deeper layout of the entire industry in the second half of last year. In Huizhou, we also have our own park of close to 100,000 square meters. At the same time, we also started to explore new categories, especially energy.
I recall that in the past few years, what our team was able to share with you may have been two results: one result was that the product was completed from 0 to 1. Today, we see Zhumang's products, from the appearance design to the final assembly and shipment, basically the whole process is made by yourself. As a second result, our industrial chain has also completed from 0 to 1, and we have found very good partners for the production of key components in our core.
The Greater Bay Area has natural soil to help us develop rapidly as smart hardware companies. First, this environment is open and innovative, and second, Shenzhen people have a diligent and hard-working spirit, and everyone will not give themselves too many restrictions. In the manufacturing of the Bay Area, Zhumang can still have advantages in the future, and can open up further worlds. Because in the next two years, we will see the gradual construction of overseas markets for bamboo.
As a junior entrepreneur, I remind myself: no matter what time it is, I hope that my original intention will not change, because there will always be changes that exceed my expectations, and there will always be new technologies and revolutionary teammates. I hope that in this process, I can face these changes, break through the existing rules and regulations, and do something innovative within our ability.
