Hutou Mountain, a hill in Dazhai Village, Xiyang County, Shanxi Province, is famous for hiding two vice premiers who made significant contributions to the People's Republic of China. They are the representative of the spirit of Dazhai and the treasure of new Chinese culture.
** is a native leader of Dazhai, he led the masses to fight the heavens and the earth, and created a miracle. His outstanding achievements attracted the attention of ***, and he was promoted to deputy prime minister without exception.
Therefore, it is natural for him to return to Dazhai for burial after his death. However, Guo Moruo's relationship with Dazhai is not entirely unrelated. In 1965, when the whole country set off an upsurge of learning Dazhai, Guo Moruo, then president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, led scientists to visit and study in Dazhai, and wrote the poem "Ode to Dazhai" with enthusiasm.
He praised the fighting spirit of Dazhai people, and expressed his love for Dazhai and his appreciation for the achievements of Dazhai people. Therefore, his burial in Dazhai after his death is also a remembrance of his spirit.
Guo Moruo once expressed his hope to be buried in Babaoshan Cemetery after his death to demonstrate his revolutionary qualifications and status. However, he finally chose to be buried in Dazhai, and the reason behind it was his many marital entanglements.
His first wife was arranged, and Guo Moruo ran away from home only five days after marriage, leaving her alone for the rest of her life. And his second wife Guo Anna is a Japanese woman ** he met when he studied in Japan, although she is Japanese, she hates Japanese fascists and is full of sympathy for Chinese, and the fascist authorities have forced her to break off relations with Guo Moruo, but she refused.
Guo Anna never dreamed that her husband would betray her and fall in love with Yu Lichen, a Chinese woman studying in Japan. However, Yu Lichen was also well aware of his situation, and was extremely disappointed in Guo Moruo, and finally chose to commit suicide in 1937, leaving a sentence of emotion before dying: "Such a country, such a society, such a self, there is nothing you can do." ”
In 1937, after the outbreak of the all-out Anti-Japanese War, Guo Moruo resolutely returned to China and devoted himself to China's War of Resistance against Japan, and also met his third wife. This woman is Yu Liqun, the sister of Yu Lichen who committed suicide.
Out of guilt for her sister, Guo Moruo took special care of Liqun. Yu Liqun didn't know that Guo Moruo was married at first, and he couldn't resist the talent, and was soon captured by him, and the two married in 1938.
At Guo Moruo's wedding, ** said meaningfully: "I hope this is your last marriage." This sentence seems to have had an impact on Guo Moruo, and he has not looked for other women since then.
Guo Moruo's wife, Yu Liqun, gave up her career for him and became his virtuous helper, and they had 6 children together. However, even after the founding of the People's Republic of China, there were still cracks in the relationship between the two, especially in the special era, Guo Moruo was shocked, and one of his sons, Guo Shiying, was subjected to inhumane torture.
Yu Liqun was very anxious and begged Guo Moruo to ask *** for help, but Guo Moruo never acted. As a result, Guo Shiying was beaten to death, and their other son Guo Minying also chose to commit suicide, which undoubtedly brought a heavy blow to Yu Liqun.
Yu Liqun, who was already mentally ill, became more ill after this blow, and she vented all her anger on Guo Moruo, believing that he killed her two sons.
When Guo Moruo's life was dying, he hoped to be buried in Babaoshan, but his wife Yu Liqun insisted on scattering his ashes in Dazhai to fertilize the fields. This decision may just be Guo Moruo's momentary anger, but Yu Liqun has always insisted on implementing it.
In the end, the plane slowly circled over Hutou Mountain in Dazhai, and Yu Liqun scattered all Guo Moruo's ashes and integrated them into the land. However, the tragedy of this story does not end.
On February 25, 1979, Yu Liqun hanged herself at home, and she died in the same way as her sister did that year. Perhaps, she did not forgive Guo Moruo until she died.
