Thanks to the good atmosphere of FAW's independent technology research and development, Zhou Shiying deeply feels that the sense of scientific research achievement and value achieved here far exceeds expectations.
With the development of science and technology, people have higher requirements for intelligent, shared and electrified vehicles, and intelligent vehicles are an inevitable trend.
But when Zhou Shiying first joined the company in 2009, "China is still relatively backward in the field of intelligent networking, and we can only purchase ready-made products from abroad and use them directly in our cars." Zhou Shiying recalled that at that time, the purchase of foreign products would not be equipped with technical personnel, so they could only rely on their own study of more than 1,000 pages of the original English manual, and then transfer it to technical personnel after repeated thinking and understanding, and the technical personnel could put foreign products into use.
After a long time, Zhou Shiying found that foreign systems would also have various problems. "I thought to myself, as long as we have the courage to challenge the unknown, we also have opportunities to innovate. ”
After that, she led a team of 8 people to explore and move forward, which lasted 17 months, developed the first set of test specifications for the electronic control system of C-class passenger cars in China, and compiled more than 20,000 test cases, filling the gap in the virtual verification technology of domestic autonomous vehicles.
As the leader of the project team, from program formulation to software and hardware development, to system integration and debugging, Zhou Shiying led her colleagues to overcome one difficulty after another.
In 2012, this set of virtual test system to fill the domestic gap successfully passed the acceptance, it can simulate a variety of operating conditions and traffic environment, fully verify the control logic and safety functions of the vehicle, and shorten the time cycle of the previous vehicle road test from 18 24 months to 8 10 months.
At that time, the German expert group that came to participate in the acceptance was surprised and praised one after another. "If you use your own technical ability to make the same product as a foreign party, it will take less time than them, and they will naturally be impressed by you.
