Today's renovated house was originally a hardcover delivery residence, and when the house was received, it presented a unified model decoration style: marble floors, equally luxurious marble on the background wall, and a circular chandelier hanging from the roof, which is simply a typical luxury and refinement. However, this design completely deviates from the homeowner's vision of the ideal home.

The owners of the house are a young couple with two cute cats at home. The heroine's conception of the home is full of personality and unique aesthetic pursuit, she likes those delicate and complicated objects and details, and is eager to create a romantic world exclusive to couples and cats.

When the house is closed, the whole space presents a standard hardcover delivery design, which may not be "spicy to the eye", but for the homeowner with a unique aesthetic, this mediocre tone is unbearable.

Considering the budget and the property's interference in the renovation of the waterway, the kitchen and bathroom section did not undergo structural changes. On the premise that there is no conflict with the demand, the designer follows the general idea of the renovation of the hardcover room, tries to avoid demolishing and altering the original walls and waterways, and achieves a breakthrough of "small and big" through ingenious space layout and wall treatment.

Based on the actual needs of the owner, it was decided to keep only one master bedroom, and the south-facing second bedroom was greatly modified. The main points of the transformation are as follows:

1. The entrance cabinet extends to the dining area, creating a whole row of domestic water bars, thus releasing part of the kitchen's functions.

2. The position of the entrance of the second bedroom was adjusted, and the space was liberated into an extension of the living room by creating a double-opening doorway, and it became a multi-functional area for rest, storage, display and study.

3. Move the wall of the second bedroom to the direction of the room, and shape the aisle cabinet as a storage area for living sundries.

4. The width of the master bedroom is limited, so the north room is converted into a cloakroom, while the master bedroom retains an area for temporary hanging.

The designer has no limits on the style of this home, and fully respects the owner's aesthetic taste and self-expression. The result is a stunning, unique and intricate work of art that perfectly demonstrates the owner's personal pursuit of the home.

Upon entering, the subtle glass chandeliers and intricate details create a beautiful picture.

The whole shape extends from the shoe cabinet in the entrance to the water bar, dining room booth and living room space, and the water bar cabinet, deck cabinet, chest of drawers and sofa are cleverly integrated into it. These compact designs give an otherwise bland backdrop layered within a manageable budget.

The water bar and base cabinet provide convenience for making drinks and breakfast, and the wall cabinet is designed with transparent glass doors to display the owner's cup collection. The booth is equipped with movable dining chairs to meet the dining needs of the couple. The kitchen door is designed with walnut frame + glass shape to maintain the harmony of the space.

Every detail has been carefully designed, from the off-white concave doors to the pumpkin-shaped leg dining table, creating a sense of elegance like no other.

The designers of the living room retained the original ceiling, but replaced the original decorative lines with rose shapes, injecting a sense of ritual into the whole space.

Two doorways connect the living room to the original second bedroom, and the backdrop wall is as if it were a movie scene with affordable plaster shapes and intricate soft furnishings.

The extensive use of walnut wood and the flexible color patchwork form a visual balance, making the living room space both rich and soft.

On the opposite side of the sofa, the designer flexibly combined the shape of the fireplace to design a double door opening, which makes the interaction between the two spaces richer. Drawing on elements of old houses in Shanghai, the shape of the door is full of oil painting and hazy light and shadow.

The design of the semi-parapet wall is borrowed from the parapet wall of old buildings in Shanghai, and the small pressing edge of the inner circle makes the wall more prominent.

The calmness of the walnut color and the agility of the tiles avoid the clutter of the space, while the design of the relaxation area creates a favorite nest for the cats to bask in the sun.

By setting up a hanging rail door, the door is cleverly hidden between the aisle cabinets, allowing the cats to have fun in the common area.

The arched door opening leads to the cloakroom, and the traditional door leaf is replaced by a soft curtain partition, which is both budget-friendly and convenient. The sliding door at the end of the hallway cleverly combines the three separate areas of the master bedroom, cloakroom and bathroom into one suite.

The bathroom removed the original bricks and bathroom cabinets, and chose bright orange handmade bricks, with retro hardware bathroom items, making the originally small bathroom look bright.

The designer made clever use of white stone countertops and a raised silver cistern toilet to give the entire bathroom a new look.

The bedroom retains the original finely decorated floor, and the wood modeling lines on the wall and imported wallpaper add a sense of design to the space.

A teak-framed wooden bed and pre-loved bedside tables with velvet curtains and handmade rugs create a warm and cosy bedroom atmosphere. The blank area in the background of the bed becomes the wall decoration display area for the owner, adding to the layering of the room.

The cabinets, which were not intended to be remodeled, were eventually redesigned, with new cabinets continuing the brick-red color of the floor tiles, and the door panels made the same shape as the water bar, injecting a rich atmosphere into the kitchen.

This retro small home, full of the texture of time and the beauty of oil paintings, has achieved a stunning look without dead ends under the strict attention to detail. This dazzling retro style can undoubtedly bring a kind of warmth and comfort to be surrounded, outlining a story of time.

I've seen a lot of minimalist style, this dazzling retro style, which can bring a kind of warmth and comfort that is surrounded, I don't know if it hits your aesthetics?
