In 1996, ** Literature Publishing House collected all the relevant poems of *** and compiled them into a book and published them in the eyes of the world. And among these 43 poems, there is one poem that has caught everyone's attention. This poem, written in June 1966, has never appeared in *** poetry before.
After gaining an in-depth understanding of this poem, many people found that the creation time of this poem was exactly 11 days after the mysterious disappearance of ***".
In these 11 days, not only did the vast majority of **leaders not know the whereabouts of ***, but even the *** comrades, who are the best people in the party, only roughly know that *** went to Hunan.
**Exactly went in June 1966**? Why did he suddenly disappear without telling everyone?
Click to pay attention and walk into the story of the mysterious "disappearance" together.
In mid-June 1966, ** left Hangzhou and began his journey south. As the chairman, the supreme leader of New China, although he has taken a back seat, his personal safety must be guaranteed. Logically, as the supreme leader, *** should disclose his itinerary to the Politburo Standing Committee, so that everyone can find the chairman's location if they encounter any problems. But this time, when the chairman appeared, he chose to keep it secret and quietly left Hangzhou City.
Not many people know the whereabouts of **, only a few clues were revealed in the letter between the chairman and ** later. And when the chairman left, even Comrade *** didn't know where *** was going, but only roughly understood that the chairman was going back to Hunan.
On June 18, a bus arrived in a courtyard in Shaoshan, Hunan Province, and three delicate cars were in front of it. As the vehicle came to a steady stop, the door of the bus slowly opened. A group of capable young men streamed out of the car and lined up in the courtyard, paying attention to the movements around them. Judging by their well-trained movements, it is clear that these people are experienced security personnel. And the fact is that these young security guards are the most elite members of China's ** guard regiment, responsible for protecting the personal safety of ** leaders. And the reason why they appeared in this courtyard in Shaoshan was precisely because they needed to escort the *** that returned to the "dripping hole" in Shaoshan
"Dishui Cave" is located in the area surrounded by three mountains on the west side of Shaoshan Mountain, its terrain is very steep, and there is only one road connection with the outside world. The "Dishui Cave" is close to the Shaoshan Reservoir, and the climate is pleasant, warm in winter and cool in summer. Because there is a magical cave near the place where the yard is located, the cave is constantly dripping, and even in the driest weather, you can hear the sound of dripping water in the cave, so it is called "drip hole". And this magical treasure land is the ancestral home of the *** family.
Under the supervision of his grandfather, a feng shui master deliberately observed for more than ten days, and finally chose the Dishui Cave area as the location of his house. **'s father and others grew up in the ancestral home near the "Dishui Cave", and later because ***'s father did not believe in feng shui, he finally moved out of the "Dishui Cave" area and moved to the birthplace of *** a few kilometers away.
Although the chairman did not grow up in the "Dishui Cave" area, he loved it very much. When he first returned to his hometown in 1959, he visited the "Dishui Cave". Because the chairman came from the east to the west, he gave the "Dripping Cave" the name of the Western Cave, and then the "Dripping Cave" appeared in the letter between the chairman and ** in the name of the Western Cave.
After the first homecoming excursion, the chairman had a view of the living environment of the "Dripping Cave". So he suggested to the secretary of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee: "You can build a few thatched houses here, and other leaders and I can live here when we come back in the future!" The chairman's suggestion was obviously listened to by the people of the provincial party committee. Less than two years after the chairman left his hometown, "several villas were erected in Dishui Cave". Specially designed for the chairman, it is a small bungalow with only one reception room and two bedrooms, belonging to the chairman and his wife.
The chairman's residence is built close to the ancestral tomb and cliff of the Mao family, and is connected with the "drip hole". Other villas were built a few hundred meters away from the residence of Chairman Lai Lai to receive other leaders and accompanying guards and other service personnel.
On June 15, 1966, the special train arrived in Changsha. Under the arrangement of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, the chairman lived in the compound of the nine institutes of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee. At that time, it was the hot season, and the weather in Changsha was very hot. The leaders of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, considering the chairman's health, hoped to find a cool and secluded place for the chairman to escape the heat.
At this time, it happened to be proposed that the "Dishui Cave" villa had been built, which could just meet the chairman's desire to return to his hometown and escape the summer. On the afternoon of June 7, accompanied by the leaders of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee and the director of the ** Security Bureau and other guards, he went to the "Dishui Cave" in Shaoshan.
**Secretly returned to his hometown in Hunan, accompanied by the provincial party committee team, and went to his ancestral home to escape the summer. What did the President do during this time?
On June 18, ** and others returned to the Shaoshan area in a Jim car. When passing by the hometown scenery along the way, ** not only sighed, but also poked his head out to check. Who would have thought that there were children on the side of the road who were collecting firewood, and they really saw ***. These children were very excited, and even shouted the news of ***'s return to their hometown.
Because the chairman's event was kept absolutely confidential, the public did not want the news to leak out. The security officers of the team immediately contacted the parents of the children and warned them to keep the chairman's whereabouts confidential. Even in order to prevent others from knowing the news of his return to his hometown, the Hunan Provincial Party Committee specially held a cadre meeting in the Shaoshan area, requiring the cadres to keep the chairman's trip strictly confidential and never disclose any information to the outside world.
**The car drove all the way to the Dishuidong area and finally stopped at the residence of Building 1 designed for ***. The guards on the accompanying bus got off the bus first and formed a cordon in the courtyard. After confirming that there were no potential safety hazards, ** got off the bulletproof Jim car accompanied by many cadres.
As soon as he got out of the car, the chairman took a serious look at the "dripping hole" house built by the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, and after looking at it for a while, he couldn't stop admiring how well the house was repaired. The chairman said to the deputy director of the public security department of the provincial party committee: "This house must have cost a lot of money to repair well. Since you have spent money, you must take care of it and don't destroy it! Deputy Director Gao Wenli said yes again and again, saying that the provincial party committee will definitely look for and take care of this house.
After finishing speaking, the chairman took the scenery around the "drip hole" with everyone present. As a treasure of feng shui, the scenery of "Dishui Cave" is really pleasant. **While looking at the scenery, introduce the name of the surrounding area to the cadres present. Perhaps the chairman was happy and began to tell the cadres about his own experiences as children. When he was young, he often came to the dripping hole to play in the shade.
After finishing his work, the chairman finally walked into the residence prepared for him by the provincial party committee. But *** unexpectedly ordered the accompanying staff to replace a series of brand-new bed sheets and quilt covers and other items in the room, and changed the old leaflets and other items they usually used into the room. After tidying up the room, the chairman ordered the books he had brought all the way from Beijing into his room. These books, as well as the ** documents, are all stacked on the chairman's wooden bed for the chairman to read and view at any time.
In addition to not paying attention to living conditions, the chairman did not have too many requirements for food. Although the chairman is known to have a reputation for eating braised pork, in fact, the chairman usually eats very simply. After the chairman stayed in the No. 1 residence of "Dishui Cave", the Hunan Provincial Party Committee specially found a local Hunan cuisine cooking master, hoping to cook some big dishes for the chairman and make the chairman eat comfortably. But he didn't think about it, but after seeing the master, the chairman told him to just cook some home-cooked food.
Every meal of the chairman in the "Dishui Cave" strictly adheres to the current standard of civil servant meals, with only four dishes and one soup. Among these dishes, there are no particularly expensive dishes, mostly fish, meat and vegetables. As the supreme leader of New China, he eats such a simple meal every day, but the chairman does not feel that there is anything wrong with it. Even after a certain cooking, the chef sent a dish with worms, and he wanted to change the dish for the chairman, but the chairman refused on the grounds of waste.
With such a simple state of life, the chairman hid his whereabouts in the "drip hole" for eleven days. During these eleven days, the chairman received any visitors, but only quietly read books and pondered questions. In addition to that, it is to review the secret documents sent by ***. In this way, the chairman spent a mysterious and simple eleven days in the "dripping hole".
**Secretly returned to his hometown and lived a mysterious and simple life in the dripping cave for eleven days.
On June 28th, ** ended his hidden time in the 'Dripping Cave'. For the past 11 days, the chairman has been stepping out of the "drip hole" area, always sitting on a wicker chair to think about problems and flip through books. Even when it was stuffy, the chairman just walked around the door, walking around the small courtyard. In his spare time, the chairman would look out at his home and his grandfather's burial place in the distance. Although the chairman once proposed to visit those places and worship the immortals, he finally gave up because the mountain road was too rough.
On the morning of June 28, the cadres of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee who lived in the nearby "Dishui Cave" area invited the chairman to take a group photo at the *** Memorial Hall in the Shaoshan area. Only then did the chairman finally step out of the gate of the "Dishui Cave" and went to the Shaoshan Hotel to take a group photo with the comrades of the Hunan Provincial Party Committee. Then the chairman said his final goodbye to the management of the "Dishui Cave" area, and at the end of the day, he told the management staff: "You must manage this place well!" I will definitely be back! The management heard that *** was so satisfied with this place, and also assured *** that he would take good care of the "drip hole" and wait for *** to come again.
In fact, the "Drip Cave" was indeed well maintained in the years that followed, and even underwent further expansion after 1966. Wang Dongxing, who always accompanies the chairman, personally designed the construction drawings for the "Dishui Cave" according to his own understanding of the chairman.
A large bedroom was built on the north side of the original chairman's office, and a separate bathroom was installed. In this way, the chairperson will be able to save himself time going back and forth between the office and his bedroom, which will facilitate his attendance. The bathroom is also specially designed with a small door that opens from the inside to the outside, so that the chairman can go out for a walk and rest.
Although the "drip hole" was expanded and improved, the chairman never had the opportunity to return there. On June 28, 1966, ** left Shaoshan by car, and when passing by his memorial hall and Mao's ancestral hall, the chairman glanced at it several times, and then withdrew his gaze and no longer looked out.
After arriving in Changsha by car, ** boarded his own special train and, accompanied by security personnel, headed for Wuhan. When he got on the special train, he sighed in a depressed mood: "I'm going to the land of white clouds and yellow cranes again!" The guards around him could see that **'s mood was very dull and too melancholy. The special train arrived in Wuhan in less than a day along the railway. But *** did not get off immediately, but stayed on the special train for nearly half a month, and only officially appeared in Wuhan in mid-July because of a meeting with foreign guests.
During his stay in Wuhan, ** wrote all his thoughts during his time in Dishui Cave into a letter home, which was finally sent to **. In the letter, ** thinks about China's future and hopes to be able to take China on the right path in the future.
This is also a key clue that was finally revealed during this secret trip.
In 1976, because of his very poor physical condition, the CCP made a major decision: no longer appear in diplomatic occasions. In fact, except for diplomatic occasions, most public places*** have not appeared again. Because of the continuous aggravation of his condition, even ***'s request to hope for his hometown in Shaoshan was finally rejected.
In the opinion of ***, **'s body no longer supports him to do large-scale, long-distance sports under any circumstances. If you act rashly, it is likely to cause further deterioration of the condition, which will lead to accidents.
And because of the chairman's health, the "dripping hole" has never received the news of the chairman's visit. It was not until September 8, 1976 that the management of "Dishui Cave" received a notice from the Hunan Provincial Party Committee, saying that the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee would come to inspect the reception work and prepare for the return of the party. But a day later, the provincial party committee issued an urgent notice to cancel the event. When the management of the "Dishui Cave" did not know what had happened, they learned on the radio that Comrade *, the great leader of the people and the founder of New China, had passed away on the 9th and 9th.
After all, I couldn't return to the "drip hole" I loved, and I couldn't return to my hometown where my dream began!
