Spring Festival mobile phone ding, May Fourth? One step to make your holiday clearer

Mondo Technology Updated on 2024-02-10

The Spring Festival is coming, and the overwhelming flow of information is coming one after another, from the New Year's wishes of relatives and friends, red envelope rain, to the ** push of various apps, news updates, our mobile phones seem to have become a never-ending information transmitter during the Spring Festival, which makes people overwhelmed.

If you want to enjoy your vacation in a clean way, just turning off your phone and turning on airplane mode is obviously not appropriate, and you may miss important **, text messages, etc. Today, the author will teach you to solve these troubles of "unimportant push".

1 Turn on DND mode.

For Android users, just search for "DND" mode in the settings interface, and after entering, you can set up the notification method, timed DND and other functions in detail. As shown in the figure, when this mode is turned on, other messages will not be reminded except for alarms, countdowns, and schedules. If you only want to receive messages during a certain period of time (for example, you only want to play games at night), you can also set a scheduled Do Not Disturb.

For incoming calls and messages, the "Do Not Disturb" mode can also be set according to ** details, for example, you can choose to answer "anyone", "contacts", "favorites only" and "do not answer" multiple options for incoming calls, and you can set them in advance if you have important ** needs to answer.

It is worth noting that the "Repeated Call Ringing" function is also supported in this mode, if there is a number at the same time to repeat the call in a short period of time, the mobile phone will also ring normally, so as to avoid users missing the emergency.

2 Set up notification permissions for separate apps so that important notifications are not missed.

Some friends may want to say that although it is a holiday, there are also some notices that need to be accepted at any time, and such a one-size-fits-all approach is still a little "sloppy". For this kind of friends, there is actually a more troublesome way, that is, according to different applications to set up their own notification permissions.

We search for "Notifications & Status Bar" or similar options in the phone's settings interface, and click to enter it, in addition to adjusting the display style of notifications, we can also set the notifications for each app individually. As shown in the figure below, the system will sort apps by default according to the most recent notifications sent, if you think the app is too annoying, just close it here.

For very complicated notifications, there is actually a more direct way, which is to press and hold the notification in the taskbar, and select "Turn off notifications" or "Set as unnecessary notifications". If you want to turn on notifications again in the future, you can turn them on again by finding them in the notification settings mentioned in the previous paragraph.

3 Turn off the system's built-in ads and say goodbye to annoying pop-up notifications.

Some mobile phone systems will have their own ads, and various native apps will contain various promotional content. However, since the setting of the advertisement is different according to the different brands of the mobile phone, the way to close them is also different, you can find the corresponding closing method according to the brand and operating system of your favorite phone.

The most intuitive way is to search for the word "Ads" in the settings search bar, click on the relevant settings options, and close it yourself.

After following the above methods, you will find that your mobile phone will not buzz during holidays, and it is very clean. Finally, the author would like to remind everyone that it is important to retain the notification permissions of some important apps when setting up, so as not to miss key information such as work instructions, which will bring unnecessary negative impact.
