The sun and the moon open a new year, and the heaven and earth are spring!
At this time, I would like to say "Happy New Year!" to you. "The new year is the Year of the Dragon, I wish you a leap and a dragon, and I also wish our motherland prosperity and dragon spirit!
I would like to ask you, where did you spend the Spring Festival this year? You know what? In December 2023, the United Nations passed a resolution to designate the Chinese New Year as a United Nations holiday, so wherever we go, it is full of New Year's flavor! Not to mention the earth, even in the sky -- on the Chinese space station, which is 400 kilometers away from the earth, the three astronauts of the Shenzhou-7 crew are celebrating the New Year in space!
In fact, spending the New Year in space is not a new thing. During the Spring Festival of 2022, astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping, and Ye Guangfu represented China in space for the New Year. Three astronauts write Spring Festival couplets, hang blessing characters, and eat dumplings! While passing over the motherland, the space station's camera recorded the Shenzhou Land on Chinese New Year's Eve.
In the Year of the Rabbit, Chinese astronauts ushered in the first Chinese New Year's Eve after the full completion of China's space station, and astronauts Fei Jun, Deng Qingming, and Zhang Lu spent the New Year in space! He co-wrote a couplet on the Chinese space station: Zhang Lu wrote the upper couplet "Building a Strong Country and Advancing Bravely", Deng Qingming wrote the lower couplet "Building the Heavenly Palace and Striving to Sail", and finally, Fei Jun calmly wrote a horizontal criticism -- "Prosperous China"!
Listen, this "Space Spring Festival Couplet" is written in a breathless manner! Its altitude is 400 thousand meters away from the earth, so it can be called the "highest spring couplet", right?
With the highest couplets, you may ask, what is the "earliest couplet"?
Spring Festival couplets were the earliest in peach charms. So if we want to talk about Spring Festival couplets, we have to talk about the legend of hanging peach charms during the Spring Festival. It is said that there is a huge peach tree in the peach grove of the Tokai Dushuo Mountain, and the fruit on the tree is sweet and can make it grow forever. However, the tree was peeped upon by a vicious beast with fangs, red hair, and green eyes. In order to protect the fairy fruit from being destroyed by the evil beasts, the two gods of Shen Tu and Yu Lei made Peach Branch defeat the evil beast and tied the evil beast to feed it. As a result, the two deities were revered and revered as the "Guardians of the Peach Forest". They draw their images on peach boards to ward off evil spirits, and this kind of peach wood board is called "peach charm".
Originally, they painted the gods and goddesses directly on the peach board, and later evolved into writing the names of the gods on the peach symbols, and the banners composed of these characters were the predecessors of the Spring Festival couplets.
Later, on the first day of the first lunar month, they cut the peach into strips, wrote auspicious words, and hung it on it, believing that it had the effect of warding off evil spirits and eliminating disasters. More than 900 years ago, during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, Meng Chang, an emperor of Later Shu in Chengdu, wrote a couplet on the peach symbol, "New Year's Celebration of Yuqing, Jiajie Spring." This couplet is considered by the Qing Dynasty couplet scholar Liang Zhangju to be the "earliest spring couplet" in existence. Later, however, we discovered that in the Dunhuang testament from the Dunhuang Cave in the Mo Grottoes, it was recorded that the Spring Festival couplets of "the beginning of the three yangs and the beginning of the four prefaces" were made by Tang Liuqiu, and Meng Chang's Spring Festival couplets were more than 200 years earlier!
In the beginning, hanging peach charms during the Spring Festival was an elegant taste of the upper class, and in the Song Dynasty, the custom of hanging peach charms began to spread among all classes at the beginning of the year. Thus, there is Wang An's famous poem "Yuan Ri":
Yuan Ri. Song] Wang An
In the sound of firecrackers, the spring breeze sends warmth into Tusu.
Thousands of households always replace the new peach with the old one.
Gu: It's a very lively New Year! So, what other ancient Chinese New Year customs are recorded in ancient poems? I would like to invite Mr. Meng Man, a well-known chemist and professor of ethnology, to give us a deeper understanding.
Listening to Master Meng Man's explanation of these ancient poems is like brushing up on the ancient circle of friends, and the scene of their New Year is vividly displayed in front of us!
They often say that "reunion is the new year," and the word "reunion" is what China attaches the most importance to for the Chinese New Year. The Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi was known as the poetry demon, writing more than 3,800 poems, which is the poem with the most existing poems in the Tang Dynasty. Among his poems, there are many poems describing Chinese New Year's Eve, especially after he was five years old, his mood was different every year, some years were weak and depressed, some years were cold and lonely, and after the age of 60, Ju Yi's state of mind became more and more transparent and clear. Next, let's listen to this poem recited by Liang, the host of the famous festival of Beijing Broadcasting Television and the winner of the Golden Microphone of China Broadcasting.
Three years of New Year's Eve. Don] Juyi.
Clear and blazing light, full of liquor.
Sneering at childish plays, all over the year.
In front of the book in the hall, the young synthesis.
In my year, the second to praise.
The seventh phase is approaching, and all fates have been forgotten.
Not only is there little joy, but also sadness.
Su Ping should live, serve Meng Guang.
Husband and wife sit opposite each other on a rope bed.
This poem describes the festive and lively scene of family reunion on Chinese New Year's Eve. In the first half of the poem, the courtyard is already lit up, and the wine made from wax is scattered everywhere, and the children are laughing and chasing, describing the scenes of the New Year from various perspectives such as sight, smell, and hearing. In the second half of the lyrical process, the family has already arranged the order of their younger age and age, and they have to take turns to give me the oldest toast. The last sentence of the poem, "Husband and wife are facing each other, each sitting on a rope bed" expresses Bai Juyi's warm and happy old age in an ordinary and ordinary life.
Chinese New Year's Eve In fact, Chinese New Year's Eve is not only the dish, but love is the most amazing condiment of Chinese New Year's Eve rice!
The writer Xiao Fuxing wrote the essay "Lace Dumplings", through the time and the present to eat dumplings, pointing out the true meaning of family affection contained in eating dumplings during the New Year. Let's listen to this piece of work performed by Jiu Jie, the host of the Beijing Radio and Television Festival and the winner of the Golden Microphone of China Broadcasting.
Lace dumplings. Shaw Revival.
At that time, making dumplings was my family's chorus. At that time, the family was struggling, and of course eating dumplings could only survive the New Year's Festival; Usually, it is unprecedented to wrap dumplings, and then it has become a family festival. At this time, my mother was majestic and proud, and she was personally and dough, adjusting the filling, and the filling was soft, soft and hard, and finally the pot was clean, not a little powder. Then my mother commanded my father, my younger brother and me, watching and watching, rolling and sending, quite like a soldier on the battlefield.
In general, my mother always has to make dumplings with two kinds of fillings, meat and vegetarian. At this time, the round curtain was divided into two stacks of dumplings with different fillings, like two armies facing each other, across the Chu River and Han borders. My brother and I used to make trouble and mix up the dumplings. Mom had to boil the eggplant gourd. Mom no, she pointed to the brain of ** and her younger brother and said, "Come, Mom will teach you to make lace dumplings!" My brother and I watched curiously, and my mother gently pinched the wrapped dumplings along the edges, and then pinched out the spike-shaped lace, like a girl wearing a wreath on her head, which was very beautiful. We didn't know that my mother was playing a trick, she pinched all the stuffed dumplings with lace, let my brother and I swallow them with play, and ate those vegetarian dumplings with my father.
In that hard year, my mother's lace dumplings gave us unforgettable memories. But these memories, as if they were asleep, require a price that we have to go through to wake them up.
Love is the most flavorful of the year. Where there is love, there is reunion!
