An Ziwen served as the deputy director of the Organization Department, and was later promoted to the minister, becoming a minister-level minister in New China. However, during the special period of the sixties and seventies of the last century, he was dismissed from his post and sent to Huainan, Anhui Province, where he did not return until 1978. He died in 1980 at the age of 71.

An Zhiwen is An Juju's uncle, born in 1919. In his early years, he was in charge of propaganda affairs in the Northeast Army, and later participated in the Anti-Japanese National Salvation Movement. During the War of Liberation, he made important contributions to the liberation of Northeast China.
