How does the monitor look at the resolution and refresh rate

The way to see your display's resolution and refresh rate varies depending on the operating system you're using (e.g., Windows, macOS). Here are the steps to view this information on Windows and macOS:

Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and select "Display Settings".

Scroll to the "Display" section and you'll see your current screen resolution displayed in the "Display Resolution" drop-down menu.

In Display Settings, scroll to the bottom, find and tap Advanced Display Settings.

On the Advanced Display Settings page, you can see the refresh rate of the current display displayed in the Refresh Rate section.

Right-click on an empty space on the desktop and select "Screen Resolution" or "Display Settings".

In the window that opens, you can see the current screen resolution.

In the "Screen Resolution" settings window, click the "Advanced settings" link.

In the pop-up window, switch to the Monitor tab to see the Screen Refresh Rate.

Tap the Apple menu in the top left corner of the screen and select "System Preferences".

Select Displays.

Under the "Display" tab, you can see the current resolution. macOS usually shows up as the default space, and if you want to see all the available resolution options, you can hold down the "Option" key and click "Zoom" to see it.

For the refresh rate, if your Mac supports more than one refresh rate, you can adjust it here as well. This is usually more common when using an external monitor. Under the "Display" tab, if there are refresh rate options available, they are displayed in a drop-down menu.

Note that the available options for refresh rates may depend on your monitor and connection. Some monitors may support higher refresh rates when connected to certain types of ports (e.g., HDMI, DisplayPort).
