In order to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the brilliant achievements of the people of all ethnic groups in the country in carrying out revolution, construction and reform under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, on February 6, the "Year of the Dragon" Temple of Heaven Spring Festival Artists Exhibition sponsored by the ** Academy of Fine Arts of the Democratic League, the Beijing Municipal Park Management Center and the Temple of Heaven Park Management Office opened in the exhibition hall of the North Shenchu East Hall of the Temple of Heaven Park in Beijing. Ding Zhongli, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and chairman of the China Democratic League, attended the opening ceremony.
Wu Weishan, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Vice Chairman of the Democratic League, and Director of the National Art Museum of China, and Li Aibing, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Inspector of the Beijing Park Management Center, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches. Yan Dongsheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the China National Academy of Painting, Chu Jianhao, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics, and Wen Huajun, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of the Democratic League (presiding over the work), attended the opening ceremony. Ma Wenxiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Temple of Heaven Park, presided over the opening ceremony.
Wu Weishan was entrusted by Chairman Ding Zhongli to deliver a speech on behalf of the Democratic League. In his speech, he thanked the Beijing Municipal Park Management Center and the Temple of Heaven Park Management Office for their strong support for this exhibition, thanked the ** Academy of Fine Arts of the Democratic League and all the artists of the League for their wisdom and hard work for this exhibition, and extended New Year's blessings to the guests and the masses who participated in the opening ceremony. Wu Weishan said that the Democratic League is a socialist party with Chinese characteristics, which is mainly composed of high- and middle-level intellectuals in the fields of culture, education, and related science and technology. In this exhibition, 41 artists of the league members devoted themselves to creation and presented excellent works full of affection to the people, showing the ideals and beliefs of the majority of league members who support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, adhere to the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and work together to build the Chinese dream.
The exhibition of works has received a positive response from the league member artists, including Chinese painting, oil painting, calligraphy and other different categories, with a wide range of themes and diverse forms, full of the sincere feelings of the three generations of old, middle and young league members and artists to eulogize the Communist Party of China, the motherland and the people.
The opening ceremony was also attended by more than 100 comrades from the Democratic League, the China National Academy of Painting, the Beijing Municipal Park Management Center, and the Beijing Museum of Ancient Architecture, as well as members of the league.
