Since partnering with KTM in 2007, Indian manufacturer Bajaj has gained a lot of attention in the global market with the KTM 390 and Husqvarna 401 series. Since then, Bajaj has been commissioned to develop other models, including the electric scooter called Vektorr under the Husky brand.
In fact, as early as 2021, the concept of Husky Vektorr has been proposed, and even the news of road tests and mass production has been exposed, but the attention has not lasted. Recently, there has been a trademark application for Bajaj called "Vektor" in India, which is a trademark application for motorcycles and electric vehicles under Class 12 of motorcycles and electric vehicles in India, but we have no way of knowing whether this is Husky Vektorr.
At present, Bajaj has released and launched an electric scooter called Chetak, and the Vektorr that was photographed before shares the same platform with the car, so it is speculated that the Vektorr may be equipped with a 4kW power motor and a 48V battery.
In recent years, with the growing demand for light electric motorcycles and scooters in Asia and Europe, many major manufacturers have joined the bandwagon, so it is still possible to develop a new model of Husky, increase the electric two-wheeler options in the market with better quality electric scooter models, and strengthen Bajaj's position in the electric two-wheeler market.
However, this plan has been shelved for two years, so it is not ruled out that Bajaj is only trying to protect the name Vektor, so we can only wait patiently to see a new Husky in 2024.
