In the desert of Turkmenistan, gas production wells, booster stations, and natural gas processing plants are constantly in operation. The reporter and the first batch of shift employees of the Amu Darya Gas Company rushed to the production line in a commuter car.
A sandstorm has just passed. The climate along the Amu Darya River is dry and harsh, but the oilmen who are stationed here all year round have long been accustomed to it. Zhao Junchao, head of the HSE section of the first gas production management area of the Amu Darya Natural Gas Company, told reporters that they often tie a square towel around their necks to prevent sand and sun, and they are really blown out of breath so they pull it up to cover their mouth and nose.
The Amu Darya project is a typical project of the group company's overseas "wellhead connected to stove", which is related to the national economy and people's livelihood. The newly put into operation in the western gas field is one of the main gas sources added in this round of winter supply. As soon as the morning meeting ended, Lv Weidong, director of the gas production workshop of the western gas field, and Guo You, deputy director, immediately started the on-site inspection work to ensure that the pressure of each gas production well was normal and stable production. After being partners for a long time, they have a tacit understanding, and they can understand each other's thoughts with one look and one gesture. As soon as Lu Weidong raised his head, Guo You handed over an 8-inch movable wrench, and then the two pressed diagonally and simply tightened the sealing outer nuts of the high-pressure valve one by one. Behind them, the natural gas extracted from the ground is collected to the gas gathering station through pipelines, and the production is increased and the supply is "full of confidence".
The first gas processing plant is located in Block A of the Baghdere contract area and is a key project of the Amu Darya project. The entire treatment plant covers an area of nearly 1.2 million square meters, and battery cars are the most common means of transportation. When it was time for the inspection, the battery cars rushed out of the river, through the criss-crossed, wide and flat internal roads, and drove to the inspection areas they were responsible for. "Usually we usually inspect every two hours. But now is a special time, and you must look around every hour to rest assured. Said the throne of the senior superintendent of oil and gas processing operations.
As far as the eye can see, the most eye-catching thing is a marble tablet standing in the treatment plant, which is engraved with the words "Zero kilometers of the China-Turkey natural gas pipeline". This is the starting point of the China-Turkey natural gas pipeline, and the other end of the pipeline is connected to thousands of households in China. From here, the natural gas will arrive in Khorgos, Xinjiang, China, in about 48 hours.
