The process of learning is most afraid of detours, and most students take detours in the process of learning, usually do not solve three problems, one is whether the goal of learning is clear, the second is whether the learning path is reasonable, and the third is whether they can create a better communication and practice scene for themselves.
I currently have a research group in the direction of industrial big data, and there are many graduate students in this group who do not have much knowledge of big data before joining the group, but the students can also achieve certain results and get offers for related positions after graduation, and many students have also obtained high value-added positions.
For students who are learning big data from scratch, I would like to give a few suggestions.
First of all, there are many positions in the field of big data, and different positions have different requirements for knowledge structure, so it is necessary to anchor the requirements of the target position for knowledge accumulation.
Judging from the current demand for talents in the industrial field, there are more positions related to data collection, sorting, analysis, presentation and security, so try to pay attention to the learning of programming languages (python and j**a), machine learning, statistics related knowledge, and pay attention to front-end interaction-related knowledge, which will significantly expand their employment scope.
Secondly, the positions in the field of big data emphasize the ability to "fight when they land", and they must pay attention to the combination with the scene, and be able to use the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems.
Finally, at present, the relevant positions in the domestic big data industry are still inseparable from the business side, and many big data problems are the continuation of the business side, so it is necessary to have the ability to solve the problems on the business side. Many students only care about the problem of data flow, but ignore the problem of business flow, which will affect their employment competitiveness and give people a feeling that they are floating in the sky and cannot land.
