At a time when the sixth-generation fighter has not yet been introduced, the most advanced fighter in the world is still the fifth-generation aircraft. As a leader in the fifth-generation aircraft, the U.S. Air Force's F-22 fighter jets are extraordinary. Compared with the fifth-generation aircraft of other countries, one of the biggest advantages of the American F-22 is that it has experienced the baptism of actual combat. It is precisely because the F-22 has shown itself well in actual combat that it has aroused the strong interest of other countries in the fifth-generation aircraft, which has led to the development of the fifth-generation aircraft. However, due to the technical and financial issues involved, there are currently only three countries in the world that have developed fifth-generation aircraft.
The three countries are China, the United States and Russia. In addition to the J-20** fighter that has been put into service, China also has a foreign trade ** fighter, that is, the J-31 fighter. Previously, Pakistan had announced that it would massively purchase China's J-31 as the main fighter of its air force. However, unexpectedly, Pakistan later abandoned the purchase of the Chinese J-31 in favor of a Turkish fighter jet. According to foreign media, at the recently held Saudi Airshow, China's pavilion area reached nearly 5,000 square meters, even exceeding the scale of Russia. This shows that China attaches great importance to this air show, and at the exhibition, China displayed a lot of eye-catching equipment.
The reason why China is so big is that of course it hopes to get more orders at this air show. What is even more surprising is that China directly demonstrated the J-31 fighter, which shows that China has been quite mature in the technology of the second ** fighter. After all, the presentation of products at international exhibitions, if something goes wrong, will have a significant impact on China's future arms orders. It is understood that China's J-31** fighter also has a great advantage in terms of cost, which is $20 million cheaper than the American F-35** fighter.
According to the price of US F-22 fighters at $80 million each, the price of China's J-31 fighters is only about $60 million. However, it is regrettable that at the Saudi Airshow, China did not sell a single J-31. It is somewhat surprising that large customers in the Middle East did not buy Chinese J-31 fighters. But I believe that with the increasing prominence of China's ** in the international market, these customers will realize that China's ** is worth having.
Therefore, although the J-31 did not sell well at this air show, this will not affect China's position and reputation in the international arms market. In the future, China's military technology will continue to develop and grow, and contribute more to the country's national defense modernization.
