Weishan Irrigation District resolutely shoulders the important task of food security, plans ahead, takes the initiative, takes multiple measures to grasp the preparations for spring irrigation, and strives to provide solid water source support for achieving a bumper grain harvest and firmly grasping the bottom line of food security.
Dredging and dredging solidify the roots. Seize the favorable opportunity of agricultural irrigation intermittently, invest more than 100 sets of various equipment and equipment, implement the dredging project of the west sand conveyance canal, and dredging nearly 1 million cubic meters of earthwork, effectively improve the channel siltation caused by long-term small flow water diversion, and smooth the channel water capacity. In November last year, the innovative implementation of the yellow sediment auction and transportation, the east No. 3 pond, the west No. 6 pond, and the east sand conveyance canal in the sedimentation pond area were dredged, and the earthwork volume of 100,000 cubic meters has been completed, laying a good foundation for further improving the efficiency of water transmission and spring irrigation water supply.
Repair and maintenance before it happens. Nearly 600 kilometers of embankment shoreline, nearly 1,000 hydraulic buildings, and nearly 100 metering facilities on both sides of the backbone channel are repaired in advance, mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance, and dangerous sections are disposed of, and the current measurement section cleaning, test operation of testing facilities, and cable coefficient verification are completed for each measurement point in the whole section to ensure the safe operation of equipment and facilities, and the safe and efficient water transmission and measurement. Actively respond to water transportation in low temperature weather, upgrade 13 sets of cable-type automatic flow measurement systems on the backbone channel in advance, and change them to industrial computers with cold-proof and anti-freezing functions to ensure the safety of low-temperature weather facilities and accurate data.
Scientific water supply to improve quality and efficiency. Organize 15 spring irrigation service teams to go deep into the fields to check soil moisture, carry out irrigation demand surveys, combine with the digital twin database of irrigation areas, conduct in-depth water demand analysis, scientifically declare water use plans, and accurately allocate water use indicators. Adhere to the demand-oriented, integrate water measurement, water volume integration, gate remote automatic control, monitoring, irrigation test information management and other systems, upgrade to form a unified digital twin platform, and realize more convenient and efficient water distribution scheduling. Adhere to the principle of learning to promote thinking and practice, organize and carry out training on test business skills, and further improve the theoretical and practical ability of irrigation district workers and the level of irrigation services.
Multi-directional efforts to protect water sources. In order to effectively maximize the benefits of the Yellow River's water resources, the Weishan Irrigation District has made overall plans for water supply in winter and spring to avoid peaks and stagger water supply, diverted and stored water to the downstream areas of Linqing, Guanxian, Gaotang and other irrigation areas in advance, and adopted measures such as downstream first, then upstream, and continuous irrigation between trunk canals and branch canals, so as to ensure efficient water use and water conservation. At the same time, based on the current reconstruction of the mountain gate, the maximum artesian water diversion flow is 45 cubic meters per second, which is far lower than the practical difficulties of spring irrigation water demand, and the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau, the Municipal Finance Bureau and other departments are coordinated to take the form of bidding for the purchase of pumping projects to further enhance the ability to guarantee spring irrigation water sources.
