After the inmates go to prison, are they still free? The truth is beyond your imagination

Recently, there has been a discussion about whether inmates are still free in prisons. Many people say that if you go to prison, you have no freedom, and all behaviors need to obey the instructions of the correctional officers, but some people say that although the prison is a place of reform, it is necessary to abide by the rules and regulations of the prison, and it is also necessary to abide by the 38 articles of the code of conduct of the inmates, etc., but the inmates still have freedom.

Which of the above views do you support? You can share your answers in the comment area below, I believe you also have your own scale in your heart, and you have already made a conclusion in your heart. Now I will explain my own point of view, if it is incorrect, I hope you will understand.

After the inmates enter the prison, there are indeed many things that they cannot do, such as playing with mobile phones, ordering takeout, playing around, etc., all activities are arranged, there are rules for what to do at what time and what not to do, and violating the regulations will deduct assessment points or cancel the opportunity to meet family members. In this way, the prisoner is persuaded that there is no freedom in prison, but things are not absolute, although in these respects, the prisoner needs to obey the arrangement, but in some respects there is freedom.

1. Freedom to write letters.

It is very difficult for inmates to know the information of their families in prison, but it can still be obtained in several ways, first of all, the inmates write letters to their relatives, or relatives call the family ** to care for the inmates, and then meet once a month. In fact, the most important thing is to understand the situation of the family by writing letters, share the things at home with the inmates, express their concern and love, and let them know that the relatives at home are always waiting for them to be released from prison and return to the family.

Prisoners can write letters, and relatives can also write letters. However, the contents of the letter need to be checked, such as the letter written by relatives to the prisoner, and the prison has the right to open the letter to inspect whether there are any violations and some special circumstances, such as the prisoner's family has suffered some kind of accident, or a major natural disaster has occurred, etc. At this time, the prison will also ask the prison psychologist to pay attention to him, in case of an emotional breakdown, the prison will also arrange a special person to investigate whether the inmate's family situation is true, and then give due humanitarian care.

2. Freedom of rest days.

Prisoners are required to participate in labor reform and receive ideological education in prison, and they need to participate in labor reform six days a week, and the time for each labor reform is eight hours, but if there is a labor task that is not completed or the labor quality is not up to standard, they will either return to work the next day, or work overtime to complete it or accept punishment.

It's not every day in prison that you need to work. On weekends, the prison will hold some special lectures or group entertainment activities, and after the end of the day, the inmates' "wind" time is also called free time. During this time, inmates are free to arrange their own time, such as playing basketball, badminton, chess, reading books, basking in the sun, or chatting with correctional staff, but each cell and each cell has a designated place, and they are not allowed to walk around.

In addition to the freedoms mentioned above, inmates also have the freedom to watch television programs in prison. This point is very simple, every night at seven o'clock correctional staff will organize inmates to be on time ** news broadcast, after watching it, some prisons are free to choose programs for **, TV series, movies, variety shows are all possible, but only positive energy films. Another point to note is that there are about ten people in a cell, and each of them has a TV program they want to watch, but they can only **one program for everyone**, and it is generally discussed by everyone to decide what program or to change one a day.

In prison, the freedom of inmates is relative, and they cannot do whatever they want like outside, they still have to abide by the rules of the prison, strive for the opportunity to add points and reduce their sentences, and go home to accompany their parents and families after completing their sentences as soon as possible.

The above content is some of my personal opinions, if you have any other opinions, you are welcome to put forward.

Thank you!
