Outside the Jiangdong Gate of Nanjing, there is a former national military prison, where many communists and revolutionary people with lofty ideals were imprisoned. On April 29, 1931, Yun Daiying, a great proletarian revolutionary and leader of the party's early youth movement, died heroically here. In the mid-70s of the last century, a certain unit of the Nanjing Air Force was stationed here, and at that time, in addition to the dilapidated cells, gloomy torture chambers and towering observation towers and other historical relics, there were still some historical materials here.
