In order to gather the enthusiasm of community residents, promote exchanges and cooperation between each other, enhance community cohesion and cohesion, and build a harmonious, orderly and upward community, on February 8, 2024, the members of the School of Computer Science and Technology of Qufu Normal University and the members of the Social Practice Team of Qixin Zhenxiang launched a volunteer dumpling-making activity in Zhuguang International Community, Xintai City, Tai'an City, Shandong Province, under the guidance of Teacher Ji Yuchao.

Before the start of the volunteer dumpling making activity, the team members made full preparations in advance, including the preparation of venues, ingredients, utensils and other materials, the formulation of activity plans and the development of publicity work. First of all, the team members and the relevant residents jointly determine the time and place of the activity to ensure that the participation needs of the residents are met, and enough area is reserved for making dumplings. Secondly, the team members and relevant residents prepare the ingredients and utensils required for dumpling making to ensure sufficient quality and quantity. In addition, the team members plan the process and details of the activity, and clarify the division of labor and responsibilities of volunteers to ensure the smooth development of the activity. Finally, the team members set up a certain publicity cycle, prepared and released relevant publicity materials in advance, so that more residents can understand and participate in the activities.

On the day of the volunteer dumpling-making activity, the team members arranged the process of the activity to ensure that the whole activity was carried out step by step. At the beginning of the event, the team members organized a short opening ceremony to welcome the community and introduce the background and significance of the event. Next, the team members and residents participated in the process of making dumplings to increase interaction and fun. At the same time, during the activity, the team members set up some mini-games and interactive links to add to the joyful atmosphere. Finally, before the end of the activity, the team members also arranged for everyone to sit around and taste the dumplings they made by themselves, share happiness and food, and shorten the distance between people.

At the end of the event, the team members publicized it through community bulletin boards, social **, neighborhood groups and other channels. At the same time, the team members designed event posters, flyers and other promotional materials to attract the attention of community residents. After the activity, it is very important to evaluate and summarize the effect of the dumpling-making activity, and the team members collect opinions and suggestions through questionnaires and feedback from participants to understand the advantages and disadvantages of the activity, so as to provide reference for improving the quality of the activity. At the same time, according to the effect and feedback of the activities, the team members also plan future community cultural activities to further enrich the cultural life of community residents and promote the harmonious development of the community.

This practical activity aims to allow residents to feel the charm of traditional culture and enhance their sense of cultural identity through the experience of traditional handicrafts, so as to form a good atmosphere for the whole society to participate and jointly maintain community safety.
