While it's possible for us all to read a good book repeatedly, it's more likely to read a new book in terms of reading itself. Since it is a "new" book, I have to put a lot of thought into the selection, and with so many new books being published every year, I definitely want to give priority to those that are more valuable to read.
First, the concept that needs to be considered is – interest. If it is from the perspective of interest, then you don't need to care about the point of view of this article at all, because interest is a very subjective concept, your interest may not be my interest, and my interest you may not be interested. So, when I accept a book because of interest, I don't think about other reviews, reviews, ...... about the booketc. For example, I don't read much biographical books, but I like Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, and I read Ferguson's biography very seriously.
Second, judge only by the title of the book. The so-called subject category largely refers to our interests and hobbies, some people like to read history books, some people love to read**, and some people like celebrity biographies, ......There is absolutely no right or wrong in these. The point in this paragraph is that when choosing a book, do not rely too much on "uncertainties", the title of the book is the simplest and most intuitive basis for judgment, and at the same time, the title of the book also reflects the ability of the author (including the translator) and the editor.
Third, ignore those over-packaging. Some books, out of the publisher's lack of confidence, will mark the cover of the book with the names of many celebrities for "recommendation". This kind of packaging looks lively, but in fact it is slightly "excessive". For example, I like to watch Jin Yong's martial arts**, but this doesn't mean that Jin Yong's favorite martial arts**I also like it, among the martial arts ** authors that Jin Yong mentioned that he often reads, I like the works of Gu Long and Sima Ling very much, and I don't read the works of Bai Yu and the lord of Huanzhu Mansion. Therefore, I like Jin Yong's works, which does not mean that the martial arts ** marked with "Jin Yong's recommendation" is also "my dish".
Fourth, weed out books that treat "relevance" as "causality." For example, if a book is called "Do This, You Can Become a Billionaire", this kind of book should be the kind of "book title party" - it may seem inspirational and the content is very eloquent, but in fact, after reading the book, you will either realize that you can't do what the book asks you to do; Or you will find that you can't become a billionaire even if you do what the book says - this is because the conditions stated in the book are only the conditions associated with becoming a billionaire, and it does not mean that these conditions will lead to the inevitable result of "becoming a billionaire". If this outcome is inevitable, wouldn't anyone who reads this book become millionaires?
Fifth, reading the title of a book is a part of reading in itself, which can improve one's comprehension. For example, there is a book called "After Reading This Book, It's That Simple to Be Smart", this book is not a "book title party", its title is actually a "logic trap". Smart and stupid are relative, assuming that there are stupid people who can really become smart after reading this book, then is not every stupid person going to be smart after reading it, at this time, because everyone has become smarter, so after the comparison, it seems ...... whether to be smart or stupidThere's not really anything that has changed, haha.
To sum up, I think that the first choice of reading is interest, and then it is the value of reading, and it is indeed "sad" to choose books with reading value in the sea of books, and it may be a ...... way to improve efficiency by giving priority to excluding some books that are not valuable
