Xu Xin clearly remembers that in 2019, just a few months after the company was established, they used the TPUNB prototype system to promote it externally, but they hit a wall everywhere. Xu Xin recalled. Later, with the change of the international situation, the state-owned enterprise took the initiative to contact Jixiang Technology and promised to provide a pilot.
It has been verified that the 100% self-developed TPUNB of Jixiang Technology is enough to replace domestic narrowband communication technology with its unified design and reliable performance from the physical layer, link layer to the platform layer. By the end of 2023, TPUNB has been actively purchased and used by many state-owned enterprises, many places**, and more than 150 B-end companies.

In the early years, the team developed smart door locks in scientific research institutes. In order to improve the competitiveness of our products, we have tried all the communication systems that can be used on door locks. Xu Xin said that the results found two major defects in the Internet of Things: one is that there is no completely independent domestic communication system, and the other is that there is no Internet of Things communication system that is truly suitable for China's national conditions.
After discovering the above problems, the start-up team of Jixiang Technology is determined to start from the bottom layer (that is, the physical layer, such as "chip equipment") to create a 100% domestic Internet of Everything communication system. Along this path, there was the later TPUNB.

This IoT sensing system has created multiple application scenarios in Pazhou Island and some key areas, such as road safety monitoring, cultural relics and ancient building safety monitoring, old and renovated community safety monitoring, electric bicycle illegal household charging monitoring, river monitoring, and park energy consumption, enabling urban precision governance in the fields of road traffic, ancient building protection, and electric bicycle fire risk prevention in Haizhu District.
Take the illegal home charging monitoring scenario of electric bicycles as an example. People install an intelligent monitoring host for safe electricity consumption next to the household meter, and transmit the current waveform back to the monitoring host through the wireless signal of the TPUNB IoT private network.
